RP Force India did a bang up job securing the 2nd row. Who would have thought they could do it? The rain was definitely a factor, as was Ferrari's and RB's screw ups, but tiny little RPFI doing that is amazing! I hope the new buyers aren't taking credit for that, as it was due to the team and the drivers. The really unfortunate part is one of the drivers will lose their seat next season. Only to be replaced by someone who is less talented. If Ocon does end up at McLaren or Williams, I hope he can bring that pig of a car to a midfield finish.
Cmon guys, I’m going to get better next year, you wait. I do have one bronze cup on my yacht already and I have to think if Force did really well with no cash, what will be like when we’re dripping in it through every winglet ! Checo already advised me he’ll teach me every secret he knows, and he promises some of it will even be in English, so I’ll be a regular rocket ship next year. Sergey hasn’t been able to help me except with his advice on how to get a quick qualifying time. Truly invaluable. But I still don’t have it memorized I guess because he keeps getting a better time than the Lancer. Darn frustrating. Anyway, can’t wait for ‘19 and Force Mydadsnamehere.
No by running a F1 team, that's for sure. The clothing retail industry is his forte, I understand, but F1 is a different kettle of fish. There are plenty of millionaires that have entered F1 and lost money at it: like Walter Wolf, Teddy Yip, Tony Fernandez, and ... Vijay Mallya !!
I wish they'd let me run strategy, whoever makes the calls at Ferrari is pathetic. At least we'd have fuel and tires ready
Again, it's total fantasy. Alonso hasn't won in F1 since 2013 and you would like to give him top spot at the Scuderia to relegate Vettel as his tail gunner !!!! LOL
I say he could lose some money in F1, I didn't say he would go bankrupt. But even very rich people don't like to lose money ...
If Ferrari want to win another WDC anytime soon they better make Hamilton and offer he can't refuse. Vettel looks more and more like a wet noodle.
This particular qualifying only shows the track was drying so that the latest on the track would do the best time - Hamilton crossed the line after Vettel so made the best time. This is proven by Ocon taking 3rd place with the RPFI because of that, independently of how good a driver he is.
Hundreds of millions spent and they can't figure out how to have tires ready and enough gas in the tank. Lack of discipline and competent leadership.
