    Just curious... Have you compared the ride with these wheels to the std. 17 inch 456 rims? I like the design, but I am afraid 345 rear wheels will make my car too noisy..!? Beautiful car! 456s are rare in Rosso Corsa.

    Road noise is definitely not a problem. As for the ride: I didn't do too many km with the 17s before I changed them so difficult to compare. The ride with HARD damper setting is not as harsh as my M3 (F80) on COMFORT setting. So no issue for me.
    One thing I've noticed with the large rear wheels is that the rear end does not feel as planted to the road as I would like. It tends to oversteer a bit too easily. Is this a normal characteristic of the 456 or should the car be very neutral in balance?

    Ok interesting. Well more area of wheel touching the ground gives less downforce per square inch. In wet and slippery conditions, wide tires is more «interesting» to drive....

    A quick look at your document shows one thing is wrong. The 'v' angle is 65 degrees. An interesting an odd choice, shared with Dinos. I have read a number of explanations- not sure I am fully convinced by any of them.

    Yes that would explain it. Just feels like less weight on the ground. Will drive accordingly.

    Glenn- She should feel very planted with 12.5" rear wheels and 345/30 MPSS tires. Those rear tires are very sensitive to camber. If it is off at all, only a portion of the tire is on the ground, effectively reducing the contact patch and that could easily induce oversteer. Similarly, the tires are very sensitive to tire pressure for the exact same reason. Off a bit and the contact patch decreases. My 575M had NF2s, but with even wider 355/25 Pirellis, and 32-33 psi F&R worked fine. You might have your suspension aligned by a real expert. Easy to do on our V12s, since we have eccentrics for camber adjustment, which unfortunately tend to get out of alignment quicker than the shims used on other Ferraris.

    Thanks Terry, will reduce pressures again. Alignment I think is good as I watched the guy at every wheel.

    Glenn- Overinflated has you running only on the center of the tire, and that would explain the oversteer.
