It’s amazing to see a v12 in such a small car, I’ve always liked the cars without the wing ,

How sad, all this downfall happened when Italy entered the EU and they lost the Lira, the economy has gone backwards, and still sinking the days of Italian 'Marlboro money backed' and others cashed up are long gone

1/3rd of the field are cheque-book drivers, sadly Italians cannot play in this field, besides only 6 seats in F1 have a real chance of winning on a regular basis

It seems to me that Ferrari select so many of their technical and management team based on their place of birth rather than their ability, and this is IMHO a significant contributor to Ferrari's lack of recent success in the WDC.
Similarly Ferrari have not secured a Constructors World Championship since the percentage of senior staff from countries other than Italy reduced.
The last thing we need is to select a driver based on where he is born rather than his ability to win races.

And WTF has Ferrari's lack of World Championships got to do with Italy joining the EU - Italy was a founding member of the EU when it was formed in 1957 FFS. Italy adopted the Euro in 2002 and then won 5 of the next 7 World Constructors Championships

I don't think it's anything to do with individual appointments, or nationalities - teams only win when a whole team coalesces. Read the books from the Schumacher, Lauder eras - common thread is drivers, mechanica, developers all working together. It's the links that are missing at present.

Isn't the thing on his right wrist one of those combined monitoring/email telecommunication thingys whereas the left wrist is a more conventional chrono of some sort.

I agree re the wearing of 2 watches though!!

I didn't know you were into motorbikes.

I watched it on a 75" tv up close, but he wasn't very good at filming bikes.
