Nice that they kept the Mas du Clos badge on it.

    I agree Walter. 315 S & 335 S`s are the best F cars in it´s history IMO.

Actually being able to spend quality time with 0684 on Thursday and Sunday made my whole week.

    Best,

    Nicolás Schenquerman.

Nicolás, HAH! But beaten in period by the brutish Maserati 450S when well maintained! ;)

If anybody was at the Monterey Reunion races this year, they would have seen David Swig's great drive in a 450S.

Did Rob Walton sell #4504? Then it was the 2nd 450S that changed hands...recently.

Would you mind sharing what the other car is that has recently changed hands?

Take it that it will remain in Europe? Would think that it or the sale of 4502 a few years ago would have been the highest price ever paid for a Maserati.

    Yes, #4506 was sold for the highest price ever paid for a Maserati. Its owned by a German collector/racer and is part of the biggest Maserati race car collecton worldwide (1 8VRi, 1 8CTF, 2 8CM, 1 6C-34, 2 6CM, 1 4CM, 3 T26, 1 8CL, 2 T61, 3 250F, 1 300S (at some time there were 3 300S!), 1 4CTL, 1 A6GCM, 1 A6GCS, 1 A6G-2000, 1 V5 Replica, 1 OSCA Mt4, 1 OSCA V12). #4502 was sold for much lesser money some years ago - but it would fetch now the same price figure for what #4506 changed hands).
