He was a great Vettel fan when he was hated here. Seb got popular here and now he's abandoned all support.

Pathetic display indeed but Vettel once again can't be trusted to keep a cool head or not make an error in judgment.

Instead of tangling with HAM when he was beat, could have let him go and overtaken him on the straight as RAI did to HAM later.

I think Ferrari don't have the killer instinct to go aggressive with driver selection. They really should have tried to pair RIC with LEC.

No matter how good this year's car, they won't beat HAM with these two drivers.

+1 Bone Head Seb doesn't think at all when under pressure by The Hammer. His brain seems to lock up and he does they very thing that he shouldn't... He would have won today I'd be same such a bone head. I hope after Hamilton wins his 7th WDC Ferrari pull their heads from buttocks and sign him.

For the good of the sport, I think a straight swap in two years between Vettel and Hamilton would be great. Piero Ferrari said once that he would like to see Lewis racing for Ferrari.

Bone Head Seb lost 2017 and now 2018 in the superior Ferrari. If Hamilton were driving these cars Ferrari would have won both. What's nonsensical is your blindness to see this...

If Hamilton drove this and last seasons Ferrari they would have 2 more WDC's but instead they have Bone Head Vettel. Hamilton single handedly demoralized not just the Tifosi but all of Ferrari and all of Italy today...

Ferrari only need Vettel to bring LeClerc in and let Vettel coach him on working within Ferrari. That’s it.

I would have liked to be a fly on the wall in the Ferrari pit during the debriefing after the race.
I would have liked to listen to the exchanges between Arrivabene, Vettel and Raikkonen following the series of "cock-ups" that occured in the race!
How Vettel could have explained to his boss his silly move that eliminated him from the front?
How Arrivabene explained to Kimmi the tyre strategy that cost him the race ?
It would be interesting to know what was really said behind close doors (warts and all), rather than the usual rehearsed PR drivel.

Ferrari needs a MAJOR startover .....from scratch.
    Keep:
    Engineers, great job!

    Fire:
-Arrivabene, disaster strategies since 2 seasons
    -Seb, mentally unstable
-Kimi, not a real "2nd" driver

That new CEO of Ferrari got some work to do.

It’s about the car, not the chump in the seat at Mercedes.

You think elton would be anywhere if he were in the red bull, or the McLaren? Replacing Vettel won’t solve the issue that ferrari have of being unable to manage a race. Kimi would, as we all know, have moved over immediately he was told too for Seb. Seb yesterday was too exuberant wanting to jump ahead straight away, and forgot to make the entry to the corner unavailable to elton so the contact mid corner was inevitable, and elton as usual gets the luck and is able to carry on while Seb spins.. since ferrari failed to bother testing the soft tyres all weekend, when they finally did, they realised they would have needed to adjust things to run them, and the tyres disintegrated. Without a two stop race, they had destroyed their own race, elton didn’t win it, he stole it away due to our own ineptitude

It shows that while the ferrari is as fast as the Mercedes, the reliability and its set up is still a work in progress, expectations of winning a title shouldn’t be tempered because the Mercedes is already a winning car, a rounded race car, while the ferrari is almost there but has its issues still, ferrari are managing the car all the time to get their results while the Mercedes is almost ‘out of the box’ ready to win

If you switch seats with Hamilton and Vettel, Hamilton would still lead the Championship but if he were in the Ferrari Hamilton would have another 50 points.

********, Kimi would be leading him, and the Mercedes number one car would be leading the championship. Ferrari would still have ****ed up their races

Elton is weak minded, and Kimi would destroy his mental state in a couple of races by not engaging in Elton’s ********, just like Nico in 2016

Bone Head Vettel is weak minded that's why he keeps crashing under pressure. Hamilton is the most cerebral driver since Senna. He's demolishing Vettel and Ferrari in a slower car. Same with last season.

Just to be clear HAM isn't exactly driving a Williams and Merc engines took 6 of the top 10 spots yesterday (on the ultimate power track) with no other Ferraris in the top 10, unlike at Spa. Even the 2 Williams scored points for the first time. So don't believe Ham's stories about being down on power.

The Mercs had more rear wing which slowed them down a bit on the straights but helped save their tires on the long run and helped make the car more drivable.

Also, he only beat RAI in a straight fight which he's been doing all year. If idiot Vettel had been at the front he would not have been beat, though this is also debatable given the tire wear and strategy employed by Ferrari.

If we were to swap Vettel out, then the replacement is clear - like it or not - Alonso comes back, and gets the next two or three championships hands down. He drives around issues, he is tough, and the likes of elton in his merc would be trembling in their cockpits if Alonso was given a car capable of fighting for a title. He may be personality-limited (much less now than before) but he is the first name on my list of replacements if we are getting stupid about Seb. We would be minded to remember that Ferrari’s number one carries the hearts and minds of Italy and 75% of the formula one fans in the world on his shoulders, he ****s up ocassionally due to the pressure as he can almost taste the blood in the water from the shrinking power that is Mercedes. If it doesn’t happen this year, then next year it will be a walkover for ferrari as merc has reached the zenith of their car, ours is in the ascendancy and has a long way to go yet to find even more speed and power. Forza Ferrari, and **** you merc

You know you're time is up when the German media beat up on you.

Bild did the analysis and came to the same list of mistakes (in fact they threw in one in Austria for blocking Sainz and thus loosing some grid position). Bottom line is that Seb can't deal with the pressure and now has cost Ferrari 52 points. He could be comfortably leading the WDC and he should since he sits in the best car.

So definitely NO to the opening question.

I’m of the impression Seb is spreading himself way too thin with all the media duties on race weekends and loses his focus. He does double the interviews Hamilton concedes to international TV as he’s the only one in the Ferrari camp to really speak to them and on top of that has the not so little interference of Italian media. If Schumy was still well enough to advise him as he used to we would probably easily be winning this championship too.
