This is proof these drive trains live up to the perspective of the professionals....I have not heard anyone say these cars have weak eng/gearbox....yes they require regular maintence IMOP any drivetrain with a racing breed like these its to be expected...
My hats off to the owner of that vehicle...
    Thanks for sharing

That´s my grigio silverstone F430 in the background in the beginning! I talked to the owner and asked him a lot of questions about the car. The CCB:s are changed once, engine has never been opened. It´s started to make a slight noise from the chain when cold but nothing to worry about yet. The car is actually used as an event car since it was new. Approx. 80k people has jumped in and out of the car. The interior was fine for that mileage. Of course you can see some wear but overall it looks good. The side bolster on the driver seat is a bit shabby.

Why 25 sets of spark plugs?

Cool! As I tell everybody when discussing my car, the mileage will be something for the executor of my will to worry about. :)

    I agree, WHY? 157,000 divided by 25 = 6,280

He changed the plugs every 6,000 miles????? I doubt it

I think 24 spark plugs TOTAL is the correct #, changed @ 50K mile intervals.

Actually i doubt that number. The owner told me he only changed the clutch twice and in the video it was four times. I don´t think he exactly knows what´s been changed during all these years.

Yes, it can't be 25 sets of spark plugs, it must have been 24. Every 10k km major service requires a spark plug change. So at 250k km there would have been 24 major services, the first one done at 10k. The 25th set would be installed at 260,000 km. ;)

Are you sure about the 10k miles interval on the spark plugs? It recall that it was 30k miles or three years according to the service manual? But of course you can change them more often if the car is driven hard.

Actually just looked in my service book and it's every 20,000 km, starting at 10,000km, then at 30,000km, 50,000km, 70,000km and so on. So 12 spark plug changes were actually necessary.
