My Modena 360 has for years run at straight up 70 on guage. Recently it has been hovering around 100 with some movement to 140....
Any suggestion as to what may be going on???

Those sensors are famous for failing.

I would also consider the oil pressure relief spring . It may be sticking.

Let me know if you need one, I have one that's less than 2 years old that I removed from my car. Replaced it as a precaution, issue was the gauge itself.

Still have the sensor ? My 2001 360 is doing the exact same thing. Was steady at 70 to 75 and now 70-140 at random.

Actually it has not failed since my post. Go figure. But I am sure it will fail again. So how much would you sell for ?

    Thanks,
    Keith

    Matt,

If Keith passes, I will take it. Mine is intermittent as well, with no rhyme or reason. Have my annual coming up and will have it installed when they do the oil.

You are welcome to purchase the sensor. As I said mine has temporarily "fixed itself".

    Thanks ,
    Keith
