    With the thread revival I guess I can keep it going. On the subject of blue.....I don't know how rare it is but I fell in love with the color when I saw it. Blu Nart/Cuoio spider.

    So why is it not called swatters purple.
    i think enzo came up with a purple , then called it blue, then charged more because it was a special blue, purple
    What do you guys think?

    Swatters changes based on the angle and severity of the sun. Can be purplish (much of the time) in the direct bright sun, darker blue in the shade, and even metallic green in other mixed sun...

    So while I am searching for a blue F355, I had to pass on one in swatters. I like it but it is just not me compared to other blues.

    I have my blu swaters listed in the for sale section......you can see that it looks more blue at certain times, my pictures were taken in the late afternoon.

    It is very unusual for it to look THAT purple, which is actually why I grabbed the picture. The car was in the paddock at Blackhawk Farms Raceway and it was getting late in the afternoon.

    It seems typically to have a subtle metallic shimmer to the blue. I was torn between Swaters and TdF when I was looking, but the blue leather in this one tipped me over.

    I'm actually not too much of a fan of TdF. I know people tend to freak out about it, but when I've seen it in person....meh. I do like Swaters though because of the 355 GTS that I saw at Ferrari Centre in that color. My gosh, it was gorgeous. I think I posted the picture in this thread and the new owner of the car did too. It does look amazing...and usually much less purple than that Spider in the pic.

    Blu pozzi though is one of my favs. Even though my car is blu sera, which I love, I really, really like the non-metallic blues.
