looks great!

 

Wow. Surprised to see how much they smoothed off the leading edge of the nose. So much aero.

 

The car unveiled tonight didn’t look quite as good as the render above but I’m chalking that up to the spec they finished it in. Car looks way nicer with color-matching aero/side panels than the white/black combination at Monterey. Just my opinion based on the video DuPont shared so far. May be much better in direct sunlight and actual photos tomorrow morning.

I missed what the #63 was tributed towards though.

 

Lamborghini the car company was founded in 1963.

 

so glad Lamborghini finally ditched the french tickler front bumper design. my lease favorite part of the Aventador.

 

this has a lot of centenario influence in the front bumper to me

 

Any idea how many will be made? and how much?

 

ive read 700 and ive read 900. also 63 of the special edition whatever that is.

 

The #63 special edition looks tacky in those colors, nothing special about it.

i believe everything you see that is black in color is exposed carbon. i could deal without the big "63" numbers though

 

i think i like this more than the bugatti divo though

 

The colors, I like the car.

 

Yes I agree, the car is special, however, the nouveau tendency towards two-tone or multi-tone color combos is very, shall we say, less than impeccable taste.

 

It is however one of the first cars where the wheel diameter actually now looks too big, like a hotwheels car.

 

The SVJ looks great in person, and feels like a great evolution of the Aventador.

Agreed, I believe the SE's design influenced that of the SVJ.

 

Yes, there is some hommage to the SE30 on the engine bay from what I can see.

Typical of today's designers, they go back and use the heritage cars for inspiration.

 

Steal with pride - it is the normal way of things - what goes around comes around...

 

Which is why truly original design is rare these days

It would nice if there were tall tunneled plenums on the SVJ like on the Diablo SE30 Jota
