Man, I drooled over the BSA thumper when it was new. I loved that yellow and chrome tank. But, I have never been brave enough to buy one over the years. Triumphs were bad enough.
Best looking motorcycle for me is a Ducati 998s final edition (2004) or the new 1299 anniversario, so if anyone is willing to sell plse let me know! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Aprilia Mille R beautiful frame, advanced Ohlins suspension, brembo brakes, forged OZ, carbon everywhere, cockpit computer...and the right number of cylinders Image Unavailable, Please Login
One from the past (my ride and still beautiful after all these years) Image Unavailable, Please Login and one from the future. TMC Dumont - a concept art bike built and designed by Tarso Marques Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow I had one as a kid and thought it was the biggest piece of junk. I was so happy when I stepped up to a YZ 125 I find it amazing that one brought in 5k
It took 8 pages - but both my top picks were there. For the street, it was mentioned early on - MV Agusta Senna takes the cake. The Britten is IMO - the most spectacular motorcycle fabrication story ever - but not the best looking bike - IMO. The beauty of the engineering is #1. Notable mention - Yamaha R7 (although the fellow posting said first generation R6... but the picture is of an R7) and the 916 - 988 Ducs, and RC-45 plus RVF400 etc. Eddie Lawson on his Yamaha 500cc 2 stroke.... beautiful bike.... my favorite looking GP bike.
Image Unavailable, Please Login Latest addition, rode it from Mississippi. I was looking for a super sport tourer, and with a few mods, the Busa is the ultimate. Averaged 400 miles a day with 43 miles to the gallon efficiency. It is the ultimate sport bike.
It’s stretched 4”, lowered, has a power commander and a bunch of other choice performance oriented mods + some cosmetic goodies. Needs a clean up but low miles and it a great base to create the ultimate sport tourer. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes, it is... this will be my third gixer and I love the feel of the Suzuki. Like sig guns, the brand just fits me better. My Aprilia RSV4 is a prettier machine and probably the prettiest bike in the world but it is pure sport and not suitable for tour duty. With a few tour mods, it will be a road warrior weapon. Here is the Aprilia... it’s on display at my lab where it will stay. Image Unavailable, Please Login
It is a beautiful bike - Aprilia makes some nice product. As far as prettiest in the world, I think I like the MV Agusta F4 the most. I am more of a naked-style lover myself, currently have an '08 Yamaha FZ1, which I love. The Tuono or Brutale would be more my speed.
Image Unavailable, Please Login Of course, the ultimate long distance tourer. Ultra Classic. Even though goldwimg and Yamaha have great new redesigned tourers, there is nothing like a Harley. Not Indian , not BMW, Not victory or any of the other imitations. There is only one Harley and this is specd to me.
Good choices Dan. I also have a Monster 800m S4RS. The only thing prettier naked is my wife (and sienna miller LOL).
