If you look at the history of that Wikipedia page you can see that Ketil3 edited it today to say that it is a replica.

There is only one genuine RHD 250 Testa Rossa with a pontoon body, which is #0666, and that's not it.

About two hours ago I suggested (reported to) the moderator to move this thread to the replica section. No reaction so far……………..

I think this is the same car as in the original post. The registration is MOI 3943 (not MO 13943 as it appears) which has also been on 250 GTE/Nembo Spider #4773GT, also owned by Mr Lewis.

I had read this somewhere in the past and I often cringe when I see people giving you guys such a hard time. You could all presumably walk away at any time and then there would be no Ferrari Chat. Or not as we know it currently.

I thought it was some of the users, me included, that are the simple ones! :)

I was there tending an OSCA and was curious about it.
I saw the data plate as the owner was replacing the bonnet and it did not have an 06?? or 07?? serial number.
Still, it was a lovely car.

250 TR Replica with plate 'MOI 3943' randomly appeared in a Sky News package this evening. Film had nothing to do with the Ferrari or even cars in general - just about the town it happened to be driving through.

The plate has appeared very recently (within the last year I believe) on the 250 Nembo Spyder 'clone', and we know the 250 TR Replica predates this, so it'd be interesting to know whether the plate is just being physically moved from one car to another, or whether it's actually being reassigned with the DVLA (i.e. is it possible that the 250 TR Replica contains no real Ferrari 'identity' whatsoever? It's not possible for both it *and* the Nembo Spyder to claim the ID of 4773GT after all...).
