Vettel (the efficient German) lost more points than Arrivabene this season, so I'm not sure this is a great idea. Maybe some Monegasque charm is the solution.

True, but that series of Ferrari foibles before and after the break had nothing to do with Mercedes. They could have stretched to a lead that put a lot of pressure on Merc, but instead opened the gate and let them take control of the title race. I will acknowledge that the car improved dramatically under Arrivabene, but the team made unforgivable and sloppy errors regularly.

+1 it was Pit Wall and driver and not the factory's management. They had a tool developed to win and simply did not. His removal if true, is needed along with a focus on results and better strategic decision making. The replacement hopefully wont be another tobacco salesman. I dont see Vettel being removed as he has proven he can win, the mystery is was he more hype than hope for Ferrari compared to the system at Red Bull. For me, when Sergio publicly said he needed to get out of team business than concerned him seemed to be a change point overall. His hope of MS style leadership and team influenced were swiftly muted.
