Hi all, I'm fairly new to the forum and this is my first post. I'm hoping to pick the collective brain on something.

I'm in the market for a 328 and came across this listing https://www.yourautosource.com/mobile/mdetails.aspx?vid=23538308#. From the photos, it appears to be in fantastic condition with only 5900 miles on it. I'm wondering if the mileage is too low (or too low given the price), and I'm looking for some guidance as to how best to approach this potential purchase. What questions should I be asking, and what should I be looking for due diligence on this vehicle.

Any wisdom from the group would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Start by reading the buyers guide for model background at the top then wonder why it says private sale at the top of the ad but Midwestern Auto Group in the text and compare other prices

Hopefully you'll conclude that much as you'd love a 328 this car is most likely a click and bait scam

Personally 5900 miles is only tempting if the car is to be polished not driven

That would be a $100k+ vehicle if it is as presented and I would guess that by tomorrow evening others will post more info about it.

Certainly run a car fax on the vin

"The tires were recently replaced at the last service due totime. The original tires are still on hand and come with the car."

    What for ?!

Does the original factory certified Classiche oil come with the car ? :)

Agree that a 328 with less than 6k miles would easily be a 100k+ car. $56k for it is essentially giving it away. As the old saying goes, if it seems to good to be true, it is. I didn't see any interior pics when I clicked the link but maybe I missed another link or something. The interior will often show actual "mileage" wear better than a speedo which is easily replaced/disconnected. ;)

OTOH, nothing wrong with enquiring/getting more information. If it truly is a sub 6k mile 328 in good condition at that price, it's definitely a steal! Sounds too good to be true! :)

But, as noted, if you want it to collect/make money (?) you can't drive it.

The original tyres are not much use if they don't have the original air in them.

kind of odd that when you click on "Inventory" you don't see any Ferraris.

This is not a valid listings site. I assure you that this is a fraudulent listing, or something recycled from many years ago.

    Please don’t take the bait.
