F430 Spider Dome Light Timer Location?

So...apparently my 2007 F430 Spider dome light timer is shot. Also apparently, my mechanic and his Ferrari contacts don't know where to find it on the car. Can any of you gurus here tell me where to find this thing?

The dome light button has three modes available. On, off and automatic. I know nothing about how it works but would think the timer is built into the button or unit ? I think Daniel at Ricambi could answer your question.

Hi Kevin, I purchased a new one from Stef / Scud Ing Swiss. Works great, I'm 1,000% happy, plus it has a soft on and soft off light feature.

Check his website for details.

Location of the interior light ECU is on driver side, up above, left hand side right behind the front trunk release button.

I went with White. Red is cool too but I like the pure white color.

Another awesome upgrade for our well deserved pride and joy.

My dome light does not come on when either door is open, as it should when the 3-position switch is in the correct position. I know the bulb is good because it comes on when switched to the on position. Would a failed timer cause this? I removed the module and cleaned the contacts per another thread, but it still doesn't work. Any advice would be appreciated.
