    After market wheel manufacturers do this all the time. Not uncommon to get a desired stance. I’ve seen many Ferrari’s like this.

    I can’t watch him, either. Then again, I generally change the channel when Obama or Trump speak, or when any reality TV show comes on, and mute ever commercial, etc.

    Typo I would say.
    You can clearly read ZR21 on the sidewall:

    By the way, the Monza must be the first Ferrari with factory 21-inch diameter tires.

    Helluva of profit margin Ferrari is going to generate from the ICONA range.

    No surprise how many Ferraris you have to own to be one of the lucky 499.

    I do like the styling a lot. I like the dash too which many here find too sparse and basic. To me it feels very appropriate for the overall minimalist, stripped down aesthetic. No complains there at all.

    However, it is a triumph of (beautiful) form over function. I think it is just too big for the kind of car that it presents itself as. The fact that it's stripped down yet not materially lighter than the 812 underscores that Ferrari is held back by its stubborn decision to stick to aluminum when its competitors have moved on with the times and embraced carbon (as has Ferrari itself for its truly special models like the LaFerrari). If Ferrari wants to create something truly special they have to work on weight - horsepower is cheap (the hellcat is 700+ for 65k!), low weight is special!

    My dream Monza would be:
    - same overall shape/style while generating meaningful downforce with no ungainly wings (clever undertrays and such);
    - 10% smaller in terms of length/width and 20-25% lighter;
    - given the lower weight they could use a smaller/lighter V12; 600hp in a 2,500 - 2,600 pound car would be amazing;

    That'd be a truly epic car! It'd cost a lot (maybe more than a lot!) of money to develop but they are already charging the kind of money that's consistent with significant development costs...

    While you have some valid points, engine development is still the biggest expense of a manufacturer. It may be relatively easy to strap a humongous supercharger on a unsophisticated V8, but a N/A Ferrari V12 that revs to 9000 RPM is black magic!!! Other than that, the Monza is just a cash cow.

    I agree. This car a bit smaller but with 200 kgs less would have been amazing. A carbon tub would have saved a lot of weight. And if's gonna cost $1.5m+(*500u), then they surely could have spent the money to make it as such.

    Apologies for OT question but has Peter Mann confirmed whether he is getting an Monza SP2? If yes I can't wait to see his tradional color spec on one.
