Do either light or dark colors look more favorable on the Portofino's lines and panels?
I think this may be one of the least color dependent Ferrari designs since the F12. Have seen a red, white and Grigio Silverstone in person and all looked stunning. There's a newly delivered yellow in the Picture thread and it's gorgeous...T
Status 10 last week finally due to paint. Will be delivered Feb'19.....np use or point to have her through winter...
Agreed, I've locked my spec in just now. I went with CDF, it's such a dark grey it's almost like black with some pearly sparkles in the paint.
Tits notwithstanding, the car is truly beautiful in black. I did notice that with all the unique Portofino shapes blacked out it could be mistaken for a California.
Does not look anything near or like black....the only black with a bit of grey in it is Nero Daytona as its metallic black with silver in it therefore creating a “hazy” black/extreme dark grey (to some eyes)
I went slightly less conventional for my spec. Interior is a mix of blue sterling leather and black leather. Yellow contrast stitching throughout, yellow seat belts, yellow tach, yellow cavallino on headrest. And just to add a bit of flair to it, tri-color buttons on the center column. Exterior is CDF with yellow shields, caps, and calipers finished off with diamond cut wheels, titanium tips, and just a tiny bit of chrome inserts in the front bumper. It is slated to be a Spring delivery - can't wait!
The tri-color buttons are on the Reverse, Auto, and PS buttons on the center bridge. My dealer said it was an extra-comp option. I think it calls attention to the minuscule colored lines (green, white, red,) surrounding the manettino. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I Spec’d my Portofino with Verde British. Turned out really good Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I think this car is going to age very well. It's also the first Ferrari I like more in any other color but red. That being said, it looks cheap if viewed from some angles as the lower plastic pieces just cheapen it. It would look better painted to match or in carbon. The one I test drove was STUPID fast for a car like that, I mean, it's faster than a 458 and you're kicking back with the top down. lol. This car is going to be a HUGE bargain when it hits 120K.
I ordered Verde British last April for November delivery. Then the change in painting procedure intervened. When did you order, and when is your car expected?
