Every of his team mates during Lewis career won in the same year in the same car apart from Kovallainen in 2009...been discussed endless times! The only thing your "fact" is showing is that Lewis NEVER sat in a car not capable of winning at least a race as not only shown by Lewis but also his team mates! That is the basis of his stats! You can't be serious.... Let's have a comeback of Lewis after three years gone and have a look how he competes at 40 with the young guns then.... Gesendet von meinem SM-G930F mit Tapatalk
Lewis was beaten by Rosberg one year and why in the world are you comparing an old MSC who had been out of F1 for years prior to his comeback to prime MSC? Terrible take, you can do better
Just becuase you have a capable car does'nt mean you automatically get wins! Ask Vettel in 2014, or Massa in2010, Schumacher 2013, or Eddie Irvine in 1998. In your own words its the car AND the driver! Once again you try to belittle Ham winning every year- fail
More the question is, why do you feel the need to respond to the 8th wonder of the world, if it's so tiresome... Love him or hate him, he sure is a polarizing figure, and did I mention a brilliant driver, to boot
So if you think it is his achievement winning every year, please explain why his team mates did as well...so this statistic obviously says less about Lewis than the cars...and it is not me belittling his "achievements" but you overelevate them or why did YOU bring up this "statistic"???
No team mate of Hamilton, or any other driver in F1 history has won a race every year they competed in F1. Hamilton is the only driver to do this
You do realize MS was 41 years old when he came back into F1? Far from his prime and yet Rosberg still had a tough time beating him.
Yeah i realise that. Kimi is still competitve and he is near 40. Infact Kimi says he does'nt feel he lost any speed at all. Fangio won a championship when he was 46. I am a Schumacher fan, i know he is a great talent, but i was hoping he get back in the grove after 1 year and make some podium appearances the remaining 2 years, as Rosberg did. Rosberg got the best of him
Apples and oranges. Your trying to compare different generations which never works. The only comparison you can make is to his peers. Whether you like him or not is completely irrelevant, he is one of the best, if not the best of his generation.
Ok and there is no team in the history of F1 that has been so dominate like Mercedes. FYI before MS came back from retirement he won a race every season since he started. He won several times in the inferior Ferrari F310 which was a complete dog of a car. Also MS would have won the 1997, 1998 and 1999 championship. 1997 we know what happened as for 1998 he stalled the start and regulated to the back, came back and had a puncture which ended his championship. 1999 he broke his leg at Silverstone and was leading the championship when it happened, which he missed 6 races. Actually he would have won in 2006 but had a puncture coming through the field when Fisichella hit him.
Kimi is nowhere near his prime, take Kimi of 2005 and he wipe the floor with Hamilton. You must be new to F1. Kimi stuck around this long because he is the best number 2 for Ferrari, which I don't like because he is my favorite driver on the grid.
Has Mercedes scored more points in F1 history than Ferrari? If not how are they the most dominate? Schumacher didn't have any wins the first year he competed. You are correct Schumacher could have won more championships,he was that good, thats why i'm a fan, but so should Lewis
Schumacher tied Rosberg in qualifying his final season and took pole at Monaco. He was still competitive but had obviously lost a lot. 3 years out of the game at his age was tough to overcome. We all know how well Nico stacked up to Lewis. I'm struggling to see how MSC would have had much issue with Lewis in his prime. Also, it's pretty obvious Kimi is a shell of his former self at this point.
From 2014-2018 Mercedes has had the most dominant car in F1 history for a 5 year span. Look up the statistics. It's really not even close.
As teammates Lewis beat Rosberg 3-1. And when Nico finally won it came down to the last race. To me this is not "stacking up well". Yes i agree Schumi and Ham could be a close match if both in their prime
Schumacher was with a mediocre team for a partial season in his first year. Hamilton has never been, he came into a winning team his first year.
I disagree. Ask Hamilton how dominate his Merc was when Vettel passed him like a bullet at Spa to go on and win the race.
