I thought so too, but they had zero interest in matching the leather grain or colour and instead offered up a hide that was not even close in colour that it would have looked ridiculous. So it ended up in being done in Melbourne and turned OK but not to a standard I would accept if I were restoring a Ferrari. Close enough doesn’t work with me, it’s a sickness that PROPER enthusiasts have [emoji12]
That 575 was for sale for over a year in Brisbane. At the time no one was interested in a 575. It is the only 575 made in that colour which may surprise some was a special order colour (I'm being sarcastic). Otherwise it was a very nice 575 in great condition at the time. JB picked it up and it is well maintained as he does maintain his cars well.
You dickhead, a bit of WD40 and the sticking lock mechanism was fine but you had to sook it and miss out on a $50k car !!! I eventually sold it to a guy from VIC for $68K
It was owned from new by an Indonesian oil mogul with something like 17 Ferraris on Sovereign Island (the story was he only had room for 16 so one was at the dealers all the time on a rotational basis getting serviced)
You’re not a dickhead, bit of a **** maybe, but not a dickhead.[emoji57][emoji57] Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app

I think it looks good too - more so in the flesh than photos. Sadly, the garish seat retrim doesn't work at all.
