I purchased this ex-Shah of Persia Miura SV 4870 via Simon Kidston a few years later and I still have the Lamborghini Days "Best Miura " trophy it won that weekend.

just thought id share a cool youtube channel with miura content. no affiliation with the owner of the videos other than him sending me a link based off of my open request for more miura youtube content. some of you may like the content. im not though it all but I liked a lot of the engine tear down. especially the transmission content.

    Very cool.

No affiliation with this Miura but I do agree the car looks lovely, as do all the cars that Tom Hartley has available, this P400S appears to be an utterly fabulous Miura in one of my favorite liveries.

That said, when a car is described as "the finest restored Miura ever offered for sale", perhaps we can be forgiven for constructively pointing out very minor issues (that apply to many other Miuras) that can be easily remedied.

I think the whole sills spacer debate was actually quite enlightening, whatever one's preference is.

If this were to be my Miura or being acquired for a client of mine, besides remedying the sills, I would also change the Michelin XWX tires to P400S correct-spec Pirelli Cinturato HS CN 73 units

I don't know which chassis number this one is, save to say that it's a factory P400S showcar also used by Pirelli SpA for promotional purposes.

Give that it is a P400S and Giallo, perhaps someone can conclude which one it might be.

According to Pirelli SpA themselves, it definitely exists (see below) as confirmed here https://www.pirelli.com/tyres/en-ww/car/collection

As I understand it, original Pirelli Cinturato HS equipment for Miuras was the CN72 (P400), the CN73 (P400S), both of which I have personally observed & noted on original cars, and, the CN12 (SV).

Doing a little independent research, I found further corroboration of the CN73's existence as original equipment for the Miura at this excellent source here http://www.huskyclub.com/tavtire.html

Indeed, and I believe that technically-speaking, CN73s (not CN72s) would be correct equipment for the Miura we were discussing, although CN72s would be acceptable. Either way, the Michelin XWXs should be replaced in a restoration of that calibre of a car claimed to be the finest restored Miura ever offered.

Sorry Joe...I didn't know... (we learn something everyday!)... In fact I still have the original spare tyre on my early P400 and it is a CN72.

Does it say the size of the tyre? I ask as I'm certain that the rear CN12 tyre of an SV didn't actually have the size 255/60 VR15 printed on it. Only said HR60 VR15.

I wonder if I may ask the owners here of P400, P400S and P400SV what the Owner's Handbook states regarding the tyres make and model as well as their sizes? Thanks in advance for any replies.

OK...In fact I just bought a set of CN72 to replace the old Michelin 215/70 x 15. The spare tyre was a CN72 (cracked and of course useless). Here is a picture or the "Uso e manutenzione" that I receve aroud march 1968 when I bought the car,
