Funny you ask that. Tournament of Kings is alive and well. One of my best friends just retired as one of the showrunners. He was a performer when the show opened back in 1991. On another note, the Excalibur hasn't changed much since you were last there. It was brand new in 1991. The property is now owned by MGM.
Where do you usually stay when you come to town? I live out near Red Rock next to https://bonniesprings.com/. Feel free to drop me a PM next time you are in town. If you do wind up at the CCSD I recommend you contact RYALEX. LOL
Hahaha, yep, the first person I ever met was Ryan, with one eye on the fact he might be required to help sometime! I usually stay at MGM these days, although there are few I haven’t stayed at. I go horse riding at bonnie springs every other time I’m in town, love it, getting on a horse and riding out, gives you the impression you are a cowboy for the day which isn’t a bad thing, really enjoy the weather and the scenery out there. I’ll pm you next time definately! That’ll be awesome thank you
A few years ago, one of the horses that they used in the show was at the horse riding ranch I booked, Goliath was his name. He was a massive horse, and had that look in his eyes of a horse that wanted to have some fun. I kept my hand firmly down when they asked who was the biggest person there, as I knew they were going to put me up on him and I had only ridden a horse a handful of times, all in Vegas, till that day and he scared me to death. That day, he took me off the trail and across the desert for a nice gallop, and I hung on gamely, then he hared it back to the pack and proceeded to make sure we were right at the front, occasionally taking me off piste for a little run...... it was a little unsettling but by the time we got back to the ranch, I think I’d learnt more about riding than I could have in fifty lessons! He was awesome!
I had to Google that as I don't read. write or understand Japanese. lol No family in Vegas. My brother did have a real estate office there about 15 years ago. I do have some friends up there, but haven't stayed in touch. So, the race was that bad? I guess I didn't miss anything by watching a football game.
Try to find a replay if you can. It is worth a watch. There was some great passing. It was an awesome race for Lewis and Mercedes. Too bad they hardly covered him.
I have to agree the overtaking was better than what went on in the front. I think it is time to "Reverse the Grid" in F1. To prevent the sand bagging in Qualifying The fastest driver gets 1/2 a point for there starting position on the grid I.E. 20th = 10 pts, 19 = 9 1/2 pts...... Then give the driver 1 pt for each pass made on the track passes in the pit lane do not count also the pass must hold for a full lap before the point applies and a max of 2 pts for passing a driver so if Seb passes Ocon 4 times he only gets 2 points. To prevent teams playing games passing a team mate = 0 pts. The top 10 finishing get the same points as they do currently. Also to promote clean racing any contact between 2 drivers result in stop and go penalties for both drivers except in the case of like max going off and no returning to the track in a safe fashion. As for grid penalties, any car that gets a grid penalty must start from pit lane with the engine started only after the lights go out for the start. This would make for some exciting racing and get rid of the funeral processions.
That would have been pretty interesting. But in the contract they would have to stipulate no GROSS SHOE DRINKING!
The G.O.A.T Lewis The Hammertime Hamilton does it again! What a great race! The next 5X WDC. If he can keep his form he'll take MS's record in the next 3 seasons. Hopefully the Scuderia recognize this and buy out his contract and bring him on as the number one!
Dominant car weak teammate. Br senn only win from the front row and without any pressure otherwise he's weak.
Every time Horner says Max 'turned the corner' Max does something stupid, gets a penalty, complains about it when its clear he was at fault. Max.....right there with Vettel in terms of stupidity. Massa is right saying LeClerc is more mature. No question.
Great drive Hamilton and Max. Poor performance by Vettel, who completely cracked under pressure. Other than that a rather boring race.
