The facts are already in the Coltrin/Marchet book:

Page 70 [pay no attention to the misleading heading 'Miura SV']
'Low profile 70 section tyres were extensively tested on the Miura and eventually the HS-GR 70 VR 15 replaced the ‘conventional’ HS 205 x 15 Pirellis in 1968. All very modern for the day'.

No worries, that's the point of this thread.

Bravo, the Michelin XWX don't look terrible, the correct-spec Pirelli Cinturato CN72/73 just look so much better, and if you care about period-correctness, they should be in place of the Michelins, which became popular in the years when the Pirellis weren't available as a new classic tire.

Thank you. That may well me the case for tyres all round on a P400S with CN73 tyres but I'd still like to see exactly what the Owner's Handbook says regarding the P400S and also the CN12 shod P400SV.

That's great. Thank you very much. Just to be clear, is your car a P400 and the "Uso e manutenzione" is for P400?

My concern here is that Lamborghini Owner's Handbooks from that era contain some errors & omissions, so it's always good to corroborate this information with some untouched original cars which remain as-delivered.

RHD Miura S fitted with factory air-conditioning, Singapore-registered SS 88.

    Anyone know the chassis number?

Perhaps this is the same RHD Miura S used to test the runway @ Paya Lebar airport which I posted on in the past year?

Do you or anyone have pics of the tyre size or markings which refer to the size from original SV tyres, front and back?

Yes, for example, on my former 5038, the tires were from the late 70s (probably the 2nd set) and they simply said HR 60 VR 15 , I'm not where I can access my archives but perhaps someone can post close-up images of the markings on original SV tires

Thanks, Joe. That's what I remember the markings were on SV4830's rear tyres. No sizes on them. Any pics of the front SV tyres? I'm probably wrong on this but they may have said FR70 VR15?

As far as I know this is the only Miura in the Philippines. Photo was taken in the 70th "Manila Road Trip with friends". - There's even an Espada in the Philippines. And of course many modern Lambos.
