This example is the most untouched Countach QV i have ever seen. On my photos above, the drivers door is not 100% closed, maybe thats the reason why you´re irritated. On the rear spats, you can see even see the original stone chip wrap. Because of the age you maybe noticed its slightly brown, from new its of course transparent. Also the caulking of the rear lights is perfectly preserved, even the water drain, everything from factory.
Silver shows up gap lines on aperture panels that are not fully closed more than other colors. If a car is 100% original from the factory, you'll immediately notice it's well-preserved state in more than just the paint, you'll see that the molding & weather-stripping remains fresh, and as you pointed out even the cad-plating is still yellow. That said, a car that is totally original from the factory's production circa 1986 should not be perfect! This is another Downdraft, one which we are informed belongs to an Italian Playboy.
