2019 488 restyling is hard to believe when the new Portofino has already switched to the new platform. The 488 is yesterday's news based on their efforts to introduce the new platform. The Portofino structure is also the basis for the 488 replacement. Your other predictions sound interesting!
Happy to see that somebody else mention the 2019 resdtyling of 488 2022 488 replacment will be V6+hybrid according to my info
So you really think they are going to stretch that chassis out for 12 years ?? That’ll put a smile on Lambo’s face

Unlikely to be so early - Pista probably has another year of production so unlikely a replacement will be shown in March. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hi Guys Kind of new here, just wanted to share my thoughts. I feel that next year will be the top tier mid-engined car above the 488 replacement. I think the year after that should be the proper 458/488 platform replacement. To the pros on FerrariChat: when a lightweight version of a car is introduced, doesn't it take two years for the proper model to be replaced after the lightweight car is launched? I personally feel that the higher tier mid-engine car is a proper competitor to the 720S line. I have a feeling that Maranello has deciding to make the 488 replacement a 570-600 LT type car now, the car that's arguably the best to drive and for pure fun. Certainly those are the intentions I see from Ferrari when they revealed their plans at Capital Markets Day.
Not only yours… And add that the replacement will be (very likely) 4WD like the Acura NSX-Porsche 918, with active cornering at the front axle (rumors) And will have some CF in the chassis (rumors also here). Introduction: who knows, maybe at the end of 2021 or (more likely) at the beginning of 2022 (three years and half from now) We will see the V6 on a new model (very likely the Hybrid Lusso Replacement, but could be the new Dino or the Portofino too) before the 488 Replacement ciao
During the five years plan announcement they said they will introduce the new mid engine car very soon . Really doubt we will see the new car in 2021 or 2022 ..
managed to obtain the original hi-res photo of the mysterious high-mounted exhaust 488 mule seen in Bologna. Thanks to instagram user @motorvalleyinsider. Image Unavailable, Please Login
They also said no new supercar in the plan. It seems to me they are splitting the 488 level car into two: 1. supercar level performance and probably very high price and also likely lower production numbers, this car will be interested in performance and numbers, yet still fun to drive; 2- what we might call the 488 successor will be more interested in fun to drive but will of course still offer very good performance. I am very curious to see how this all works out.
Spotter of this car said he is sure the mule has a V12. Maybe we are in for a big surprise with the top mid engine new car ..
