CONGRATULATIONS! With this post, the Portofino thread is officially TWICE as long as the California thread. The enthusiasm for this car is unprecedented. Everyone seems to love the thing. Writers, photographers, even some of the hardcore Ferrari purists have come around. While it will never be a collector's car because of it's production numbers, the Portofiino will be one of the last non-hybrid Ferrari cars made. Barring some unforeseen flaw (it spontaneously combusts, or something like that) it will go down in history as one of the great Ferrari cars. Fast, beautiful, practical as a daily, and well worth the 300k delivered price tag.
I recall that there was an FF - also in Japan - in this color (marrone). I think it looks awesome...T
The Stop-Start button on the steering wheel is, in my opinion, sheer genius by whomever @ Ferrari came up with idea. 2.5 years and ~15K miles into my first Ferrari adventure, and I still get gassed cranking the key on my Cali, and then hitting that red button, and listening to the F-car bark to life! T
Actually there are four cars (though you can just about see two more in the background), all four of them beautiful, Italian ones, a building, two trees and six human beings.
