Obviously a set up. The angle of light on the tail shadow of the "TWA" doesn't match the angle of the rest of the airplanes nearby. How come the plane ahead of the subject doesn't cast a shadow of its tail on the nose of the "TWA"?

Fake because the L-2000 was never able to fly and it can't get to that boneyard/scrapyard unless it flew in there. As far as the whereabouts of the actual L-2000 full scale mockup...probably destroyed after project cancellation many decades ago and thrown out.

Edit: B2707 my bad. They both look the same to me. And B2707 mockup used to be in FL, but now west coast museum undergoing restoration and I don't think it ever had a right wing anyway.

I wasn't even considering the airplane that wasn't really there. As an artist, I was looking at the geometry of the lighting or the lack of it.

Ah gotcha. Here was the mockup as it was in Kissimmee, FL (Disney World area south of Orlando). https://www.flickr.com/photos/8767849@N07/sets/72157618299890370/

It then sold to a guy who stored it in Merritt Island, FL (next to Kennedy Space Center). Three photos here:

Then it was scraped except for the nose section, which used to be on display at Hiller Museum in California. Photo here:

Now it's at the Museum of Flight undergoing restoration since its move in 2013. Article here: https://web.archive.org/web/20160402205840/http://blog.thenewstribune.com/business/2013/04/11/boeing-sst-mockup-coming-home-after-40-years-will-it-become-the-centerpiece-of-a-new-sonics-arena/
