Indeed! The yogurt was a tad sweeter than I like, but the blackberries and blueberries were ratty, so it worked out OK. Image Unavailable, Please Login Lamb curry: Lamb cubed. This was the yogurt. Image Unavailable, Please Login It was OK. It was marked down for quick sale @ Kroger, and I can't pass up a yogurt bargain. [emoji6] T
Had a clubhouse sandwich at a local chain started here in 1928 called White Spot. It was good, but not dinner good. Didn't feel like a burger.

^Never liked mortadella, but ditch the mayo and mustard, and double up on the spicy peppers and I'm there! T
Yep, and a little ham. I've eaten there since a kid. At first it was at the original 1929 location, but it burned down about 30 years ago. The gimmick they had kid pack meals before McDonalds. They serve kids meals in a paper pirate ship. I didn't eat at McDonalds until I wasn't into toys and kids sized meals.
I'm off to Eastern Washington State. Plan to hit the Indian Casino buffet, its quick and easy. Problem in eating all that food is I get tired after. Not good to be sleepy in the mountain passes or not. Probably do Panda Express tomorrow night on my way home. Fast trip, its a pick up a check and head home.

We're doing leftover smoked chicken. The dog, not surprisingly, is running amok making sure she gets what she deems is her fair share...T
This was last nights little meal. I was trying to make potato chips to go with the salmon filet and I feel as if I pretty much nailed it. Cut a potato fairly thin. Soaked in a bowl of water then patted dry and put on a baking tray with a little olive oil. Salt, pepper and rosemary. In the oven at 350-425 (alternating as to when I put the fish on) until they browned. Crunchy. Nice. I’ll definitely be doing that again. Hopefully with a piece of red meat. Thanks Tom! The red smashed potatoes came out good as well but that cook of the steak was one of my better ones. I also took butter, spices, oregano, paprika, and more to make a spicy herb butter which was put on the steaks after.
Pork? I see a bone, so not sure. I'm surfing the web for lamb recipes for tomorrow night that will keep wifely griping to a min. T
@tomc, if you have a Whole Foods nearby, and want to explore a different mustard, maybe you will start liking it. If so, see if they have some Annie’s. Basic ingredients, not a lot of zing (vinegar) or spices added. Its mild and I expect you may like it better than others. We enjoy bulk brined olives from purveyors at the market stands, well beyond any I’ve had in jars, as an example. Well, maybe but for Gil’s Gourmet. I’m having (had, as this didn’t post initially) a bowl of pasta with some honey mustard, sea salt, coconut oil and aminoes on it. Have a great weekend folks! Image Unavailable, Please Login Our Whole Foods now have a limited supply of good Icelandic Lamb. Will share whatever I do with some of it as stew meat when used.
Funny enough, Ron, I just left Whole Foodies for my biweekly Siggi's run. They have the most extensive selection of Siggi's flavors in our neck of the woods. I'll pass the mustard recommendations to the missus. It's too late for me. I am a dyed in the wool mustard hater, and too old to change! Keep us up to date on your lamb recipe. Central Market here in Texas is the best place for olives. They have a great selection. The wife like's the blue cheese or garlic stuffed olives. I like the spicy Sicilian olives. They're great with a little cheese, some bread, a good wine, etc. In the summer when it's too hot to cook, those make a great tapas-like dinner. T
I just got home.. Decided to get a hotel in Bellingham WA. Did Panda Express last night. Plan is too get a pizza tonight.
