If we want to be honest, this car is a chop top 812, which means that it is crazy fast, but not 1 million quid fast.

Agreed, and the pricing is closer to 2 than 1 million quid.

Perhaps not but it is a million quid special, maybe even two. Some will see the value in it, some not.

This car opens the "Icona series", officially stated as "high profitabilty cars" in Ferrari strategic plan. When I saw it in pictures I thought this: "An excellent way to sell an F12 at five times its price". But when I saw the car in person here at the Icona building inside the Factory (thanks to F-chat member PPG70), I have to say that the car it's really an "Icona" and who can afford it is a very lucky man: that's a fantastic looking car.

    ciao

I seem to recall a certain red car, very low slung to the ground, with a huge wing on the back, it too has a front clam shell hood... :)

Regarding the US market, could this car qualify for Show & Display eligibility in the US? I really don't see why it wouldn't.

I m sure that the middle mirror is a road safety requirement in many markets ... ruins the look of the car though

I agree that this car is awesome to look at in person !! ! I just returned from the factory today after spending most of yesterday in the new TailerMade building at the factory , and the full life sized clay model ( fully painted etc) of the Monza in the Tm room looked phenomenal !! Even the portofino paint colour looked amazing on this remarkable car .... as a homage to racers of old it hits the mark imho ....
