    Any idea what the extra cost is for CFN paint? Would it be the same as the historical paint cost if it’s not triple layer? Thanks

    Think you will find most, if not all, are 3 or 4-layer. Cost is based on layers (or opaco) not the colour choice....

    I don't doubt what you are saying about the cost. However the historical colors are 'off the shelf' so to speak as their characteristics are known. Paint to Sample is something they have to create from scratch. Ferrari has never been shy about charging up for extra work.

    I have both CDF and also TM Blu Nobile (3-Layer) in vats I spec’d myself.....pricing between the two is substantially different. I can only pass on my experience....

    Doesn’t seem to be enough green in it for Abu Dhabi, too light for NART, too dark for Blu Corsa, not vibrant or purple enough for Elettrico.... Must be a TM colour?

    A couple of things I learnt last week when finalising spec on my 812.
    Blue tdf is still a standard colour but has changed for future builds and is called Blue tdf 70 anni.
    A little lighter but not very different.
    Special leathers (I was interested in Beige Honolulu) are quite difficult to incorporate as they cannot be used in all areas of the cockpit.
