No. The yellow alloy fourcam was not taken at Meadow Brook but at the 18th Annual FCA Nationals 4-7 June 1981 at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. It is 10269 of Herbert F. Kerr who won the Phil Hill Best of Show Award. Owned today by Phil Bachman in TN. Marcel Massini
The photos of the prototype Berlinetta Boxer were taken on the front lawn of Art Center College of Design on 3rd St in LA. The car had been shown at the LA Auto Expo, and they brought the car to school so the design students could see the car. 1973! It had burlap like fabric for the interior trim. Ah yes; the old Art Center on 3rd Street. Strother MacMinn, instructor, used to have me bring interesting cars for the students to view at lunch time. Here are some he took of 1777GT. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Man, that car is seriously pretty. I know the windshield would rpobably take your eye out in a minor fender bender but on the plus side you'd have had the opportunity to see this car in the flesh, so why would you even need an eye after that anyway...
