No permits yet.....All that billion dollar infrastructure. For government dignitaries only......For now...
You cant build roads wide enough for the mainland drivers.....It makes driving in Mumbai look like a child's sport......
Nairobi drivers obviously buy their licenses with bribes too. No indicating, abrupt turns across oncoming traffic, weaving at high speed - it's terrifying.
I miss Nairobi Ian....They used to make some of the best samosa's I've ever eaten....I still eat lots of biltong here in Australia...
Yeah the bus companies are screaming. Interesting point- what impact do you think this will have on the ferry business? And I wonder if a bit of air traffic will move from Shenzhen to Macau? Your thoughts?
I think a lot will / are moving from HongKong....The city has become far too expensive to do business in with a lot of government restrictions these days...Couple it with its toxic pollution from the mainland ( pearl river delta ) it's becoming less and less attractive...The Airport is at overcapacity and even the 3rd Runway won't alleviate things because of the restrictions of Mainland Chinese airspace next to us...China is nowhere near a first world super power. Very few commercial airline routes are given due to the military owning its airspace and the few that are given are shut down regularly for military activity....There are no rules or regulations that can't be bought in their economy....One of the most arrogant self absorbed cultures I have ever come across....Even the Cantonese struggle with them...The place is a total toxic Sh#t show and they own HongKong now....

It's gone further than that now. The end of Scottish hunting for fun/profit beckons.... https://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-10-25/hardcore-huntress-posting-photos-of-dead-goats-scotland/10427550

Adrian, change the oil & filter every 12 months, regardless of mileage. Oil is cheap and it's your best defence to extend engine life. Use Mobil 1 5W50. Ferrari only recommend Shell because they're a sponsor. If your mechanic recommends something else, it's because he gets a better deal from that company. Mechanics get oil delivered in bulk then charge you full retail. I've seen trucks delivering no-name oil into tanks badged with a well known brand. Also, a lot of "synthetic" oils are made from recycled or low quality base stock. When you're ordering Mobil 1, make sure it's real. People on ebay sell fake oil in copy-packaging. Rocket Industries are out your way and very reputable. Ian
