I questioned Marc about the oil he/I use after the conversation you and I had on GG mate. He said he used it because of the lab results they were getting back as compared to previous oils they used. It's all good Giz, my post wasn't specific to any particular workshop or brand. Life's experience has made me cynical about the Ferrari servicing business in general. You guys are very lucky to have Marc. I haven't used or had analized Penrite oil, but I've done with other brands, including Mobil 1. My Coswoth is halfway through its current lifecycle and the analysis shows extremely low wear metals, so I know the oil works. I've also found that the majority of engine builders recommend it. The quality of oil's ingredients determines when it starts to deteriorate. The best approach is to change it at least annually, regardless of mileage.
