    Just noticed something that is obvious but hadn’t occurred to me before. I was wondering why the need for the black felt blocks on the front edge of the car. Of course it is because the bonnet (hood across the pond) reaches right to the very front of the car due to the unusual aero on the Pista. This most likely contributes to the look very well, just like the Aston DB9 and others, where Aston bragged that the metal bonnet extended to the front of the car rather than the need for a plastic bumper in the front - because Aston’s panels were handbeaten not mass produced and therefore more difficult shapes were possible, adding to the beauty.

    So too the Pista. I’m now very glad I ordered the front camera though - even a small knock here, that a bumper would absorb, will require a full repaint and possibly even a panel change.

    Agree with appearing differently. My TDF is also grigio ferro and you can see the apparent change in color. Pista is on its way via boat. We'll see if Ferrari decides to delay releasing cars at the port until January. If they've hit their numbers for the quarter/year I won't see the car until January. Otherwise sometime in the next 4-6 weeks.

    A bit of 'Grigio Ferro' heaven you will have there with two special Ferrari models wearing that wonderful paint color! I am always partial to the silver wheels and your cars each have that characteristic.
    Hopefully the latest addition to your Ferrari family will be along in a timely fashion. Some people I know like to even follow the travels of the boat carrying the Ferrari automobile shipment.

    I'd say gef3rd's Pista is missing the whole front bumper in that build picture. Those wouldn't be felt blocks but internal assembly ends.

    Both pictures are obviously not in the same day, nor in the exact same spot, who knows abobut lighting, camera, etc. I mean, that comparison is not good, your Pista will show up probably matching the tdf paint 100% if paint codes are the same.

    I also think the differences in car shape and how the reflected light is processed by cameras comes into play.
