I think what little advantage Ferrari had is gone. It's obvious Lewis is sandbagging during practice - Ferrari is fastest during P1, P2 & P3 and then gets blown away in qualifying.

Even Vettel said himself, right now the biggest opponent this season has been himself, not Hamilton.

    I completely agree with him.

Hamilton needs to DNF at least once and finish 2nd at the other upcoming races while Seb needs to win all the upcoming races to clinch it.

If I were a betting man...

If Hamilton were in the Ferrari he would have an 80 point lead.

If Hamilton was in the Ferrari we would already be starting the 2019 season

Is there a chance, just a small chance, that you guys could crawl out of each other's grills?

There's no reason for this crap.

Either tone it down, or thread bans will follow.

Yes I can, because no matter when one brings up an argument or a question you punt and then you come with a question yourself to distract...and now you seriously complain about me not answering that question??? No need to go any further, back on ignore...

Why? Because it true? Hamilton absolutely would not have throw at the points that Vettel has...

I am pretty confident Ferrari strategists would have been able to ruin his season - putting more pressure on him (which we've he's not that good at handling on the rare occasions things did not go his way this year).
Maybe if Hamilton were in the Ferrari Vettel would be easily leading the championship in a Mercedes :D

This is hilarious, Hamilton lives on pressure while Vettel caved into to it. This is the reason why Hamilton it's currently leading the WDC is that Vettel has caved while Hamilton has risen to the challenge.

Ferrari would have more faith in Hamilton to produce the result to move forward in the championship letting them not just to depend on the strategy alone but also Hamilton as the driver to maximize the car to bring the team forward and lifting the pressure off the team. What does this mean?
    Less mistakes...

Lewis hasn't made the type of mistakes Vettel's currently making in years

Elton is, in fact, a pouty llittle Diva who cuddles up to seedy celebs and generally doesn't fit the Ferrari culture. I don't want him, and Ferrari doesn't either.

Do you recall several Qualis ago when Elton did poorly and LITERALLY RAN AWAY from the TV cameras because he couldn't face them until he got his own special interview later on? I don't want that person on the Ferrari team.

No, because then he would have a car that was usually 2nd best and a team that might be more like 3rd best.

It effectively ended in Germany. That was a Fool's DNF for Seb, and he never regained his momentum.

Even if Ferrari was 2nd best it’s about time Vettel proved himself in not the outright fastest car like his Redbull days. Hamilton did it in 2008 and again in 2018. Ferrari have been the best car in 13/19 GPs this season and Vettel has miserably failed to win the Championship. In that Ferrari Hamilton would have wrapped up the title with about 6 races to spare since he managed to wrap up the championship with 2 races to spare in the 2nd fastest car.

Talking about hilarious. Please listen again to the radio messages of Hamilton in the Mexican GP, when there was no pressure at al (he needed only 5 more points in 3 races) and he still was complaining / whining / blaming others. A true champion.....

Meanwhile in spite of all the detractors and armchair critics, Lewis Hamilton has just bagged his 5th WDC, and I guess that Mercedes will also clinch its 5th WCC.
Talent and efficiency have been justly rewarded.
2018 has been another vintage year for F1.
