    Gary, what you own has no relation to your market price assumptions. US market is irrelevant for modern manuals in Australia due to LHD, the market you should be looking at is UK. If you can bring a 360 or 550 from over there, pay all taxes and compliance fees and STILL be under local asking prices - then the local cars are overvalued. At this stage, they are undervalued to fair price depending on the car.

    you missed the fact that I'm talking about modern manuals (360, 550 and newer) as the original post was about a 360. I have no idea what the market is for LHD 308, they're all worth $50k as far as I'm concerned :)

    I think the confusion came from the word 'modern' - I can't call a car that was released way before I was born (talking about 308) as 'modern', whereas for most of the aussie fchat audience it happened just as they started approaching retirement!
