Potentially adding a 720 to my garage

Do you have a Vbox? It’s fun to see the crazy numbers this car can put down. 91 octane sucks though although there’s good gas up at Toms Green Thumb still, right?

 

Friend if mine did 5.3 seconds 60-130 on the street (2.7 to 60 and 8 to 130) and 5.2 seconds at the strip (2.4 to 60 and 7.6 to 130). Did the quarter mile in 9.8 seconds at 146.5 mph! 720S is hypercar fast. Huge bargain, really.

 

Don't get too excited...my friend has the 'upgraded exhaust'...well you have a killer paint color. Dude it's a turbo, don't get excited about exhaust note--it ain't there. BUT the doors...love them

Look forward to pics and enjoyed the journey. Going to look killer and you've been a trooper on incoming.

I absolutely love the 720S. When it came out, we had a few F-car purists who jumped ship over to McLaren. A good friend of mine got a very early and highly optioned 720S, it is really a breathtaking car. So easy to see out of, hypercar fast (as others have said), and really cool tech with all of the parking cameras and the infotainment and everything else.

At the risk of being ridiculed on a Ferrari forum... I'd have a very tough time buying a 488 over a 720S for the same money. Others felt the same way, clearly, since we had 5 720Ss locally this summer - more 488s than we've had at one time since the 488 was launched.

 

Congrats! Gorgeous car. And the best part? Unlike most of the country, you won’t have to put it away for the winter.

 

Press start button
press active button (every time you start the car)
have both dial buttons to track/track (whatever your last setting was it will stay this way until you change it
ensure "m" is pressed (manual). (whatever your last setting was it will stay this way until you change it
ensure aero button is pressed (wing up). (whatever your last setting was it will stay this way until you change it
press esc button (esc dynamic) you will have to do this every time or it will revert back to full esc after you stop and start the engine again.

track/track esc dynamic mode is the equivalent of "race" on the ferrari's.

You won't feel what you have said "lag" in the past and it will be much more raw. screen will fold down into track mode and if you want the bigger view then press the button on the dash to the left of the screen and it will put it back into full view mode.

One other thing; the rev limiter shows it at 7800 rpm's. You can go to 8500 rpm (which is the true red line) but optimal shift is 8200 rpm.
