Uwe. Your posts in this thread are wonderful. Thank you. I have tried to sign up to the Bugatti Register but the site does not allow me to. Am I doing something wrong or is the site no longer open to everyone? I have lots of Bugatti photographs and would prefer to know if the cars are real or not before posting them on here. I know that some are "not as they seem" and am happy to post these as such. I would rather know about some of the others before embarrassing myself! I grew up just a cycle ride from Prescott and most of my photographs were taken there. A relative, via marriage, is a well known owner and I would like to think that cars I have seen at BOC events are genuine but I know that Ferraris at FOC events are not always as they seem! I will begin posting in the next day or so but would like to know beforehand if cars I have seen are real or not. Robert

Hello Robert, registering in the Bugatti Register is not easy (try "facebook" in a Bugatti group). An identification of Bugattis is also possible at www.bugattibuilder.com. Enter a license plate into the search, and you know if the Bugatti is real or not.
Is this at the Mullin Museum in California? My wife and I visited several years back and there were many Bugatti to be seen. I'm not knowledgeable enough to know if they are authentic or replicas...T
