    Exactly !!!

He himself said he wasn't interested in championship.
The idea of pacing yourself all season and working to accumulate points to win the title was anatema to him.
"I am a racer," he once claimed,"not a bean counter; I want to race as fast as I can, all the time."

Nuvolari was the same according to what I read about him; That's why Enzo loved him.

So someone who says he started to root for Lewis because others here "hated" him to counter that and who says he will not change his opinion no matter what but still having more than 11k posts says others are only debating for controversy... what an utter joke. And although claiming having people on ignore thinks he has to "like" everything said against these persons (which would make not sense not having read what the comment is based on) and now trying to incite others to do the same. At the same time calling Michaels accident a question of karma and those emigrate to asia as paedophilic...tell us more about polemics....

This is Lewis Hamilton, the guy who cannot stop plastering himself across social media.
He has brought the interest upon himself.
He likes the attention as he wants to feel loved.

Other drivers such as Vettel lead a pretty private life away from the track, and the media is less intrusive as a direct result.

I only follow the racing, and ignore everything else.
I don't follow social media (the disease of this century), I am not interested in fashion, music, trends, or the jet set.
For me Hamilton is AT THE MOMENT the best driver, and I like to follow that.
How he dresses, sings, dances, or who he sleeps with, his dogs, his jet and his cars are of no interest to me.
But I understand that compared to him, other drivers may look dull.
If people prefer to concentrate on his life outside racing rather than focus on his achievements, that's OK too.

Exactly... and now those people who say that he is best for F1 for exactly those reasons tell us we should ignore that if we are real F1 fans. That said the conclusion is that those coming to F1 because of Lewis instagram account are no F1 fans...

    On the contrary.
Other drivers such as Max and Alonso make Lewis appear desperate for love and adulation.

Lewis has shown great speed in the greatest car, but it won't last forever.

Your post just shows that you completely focus on the Elton stuff, if you were really interested in f.1 you would also remember my various posts about old races and racers, testing mules, various f.1 stories, f.1 news, etc, etc....sorry to disappoint you but Elton really isn't that much interesting...even in the hating part he only comes second!
    By the way, it's "arquitecto".

Shades of homophobia yet once again?

    Nope.
I would not be able to perform in my professional capacity if I was homophobic.
However, I respect all views including those who are homophobic, as they stand by their principles in the same way that progressive women in the US are now opposed to President Trump.
All views and values are to be respected.

What does President Trump have to do with any of this? It's far from only "progressive women" in my country who oppose him.

Are you positing that Lewis Hamilton is gay and somehow living and projecting a lie? An ultra-clear and simple response is in order, and would be greatly appreciated.

Yep. If they didn't wish to damage his image by repeating some sexual inuendos, why do they do it?

The fact is that homosexuality isn't a stigma anymore; the slur is rather toothless nowadays and often comes back like a boomerang on its author.

You may have noticed that this year the Mercedes wasn't constantly the best car .

Ferrari had the best car for most of the season, but still managed to let the title slip through their fingers.

And once again a post that does not make sense at all... As like you said homosexuality isn´t a "stigma" anymore, how could the suggestion be "a damage of the image"??? Why is it homophobic when someone say another person is gay? Is anyone homophobic when he calls Elton John gay???
Fact is that the Lewis-superfan painted the picture of Lewis flying around the world "screwing three supermodels" and none of you political correct guys came over here and said anything about sexism because obviously some of his "fans" like the idea of him banging supermodels more than being gay at the end... leaves the question who actually is homophobic ;)

And oftentimes the authors of such slurs are, in actuality, subconsciously "projecting" something about the inner-recesses of themselves . . .

SimCity3's post was in reply to KTU's post which said, "screw three supermodels."

It's clear as day that SimCity3's snarky reply (including his ;) emoji) reeks of a gratuitous and denigrating tone towards Lewis' sexuality. His is a wholly blatant attempt to cast aspersions, be judgmental and inflict embarrassment. He even goes on to say in his most recent post, "However, I respect all views including those who are homophobic, as they stand by their principles . . . "

Pretty clear where SimCity3 is coming from.

Ok, as you like to do that as well, let me ask you a simple question..
As people here are certain that I hate Lewis anyway, what difference would it make for me whether he is gay or not ever IF I would find anything negative in being gay?
The question is more would it make a difference for some of his supporters or rapper friends, people like toil who thought a gay person would lack the aggression needed to be successful in sports...I am quit certain that not all of them would simply accept that but yet the word "homophobic" is only used against his "detractors". Why?

I can’t speak for tolerant/intolerant gay-friendly/unfriendly attitudes of Lewis’ various supporters, but it’s exceedingly apparent SimCity3 is coming from a place of derision and mocking regarding Lewis’ sexual orientation “truth.”
