what pads and rotors do you like for SUVs? i've used hawk ceramic for a few years but feel like they're dusting more than i care for. haven't tried EBC in many years. And i can't get akebono for my 2011 RR SC.

going to use stoptech rotors next as the oem ones dont hold up at all rust wise.

i tried LTS and they were noisy on my RR SC. switched to the ceramics which have a little less bite but a ton less dust and no noise.
do you find the LTS noisy and dusty?

I tried ceramics first on my Wrangler Unlimited. Dust okay, bite terrible (though the Jeep is underbraked anyway). Then tried Hawk HPS. Can't tell much about dust (Jeep is often muddy, wheels are black) but the cold bite is worse, hot bite is only slightly better than the others. I've been living with it but I don't like it. I wish I could get Cobalt Friction to make me a set--I run their race pads on my Lotus on the street and love it--tons of bite.

Just like the aphorism "Strong, Light, Cheap--pick two", with brake pads it is "low dust, great bite, no noise--pick two if you are lucky".

What I’m thinking. No clear winner. OEM are fine, just wanted more bite.
