What's that you say? Are you saying that if your McLaren dealer was also a I'm not holding my breathe, but I also don't think Ford is deciding to sell another 500-750 cars just to appease some FGT fans when the company has $11B in restructuring costs on their plate, a credit rating teetering on junk, and a stock price indicative of nothing terribly good. I have a feeling that the FGT run is going to be longer than most people think. The FGT came and went, they got their marketing out of it. If it makes financial sense to sell more cars, I think they will. If there was ever a chance for the average Joe to get a NFGT, now is it.
Well, without revealing other information, there is at least some other stuff in my favor, at least IMO. I could also just go buy an old FGT and add it to the application since most cars went to FGT owners. I'd rather not be hassled with that though.
I am a Ferrari fanatic, but I respect all makes. I was really amazed by Valentino Balboni (fluent in English, French and German), when we had dinner together a few years ago. - So, Valentino, what is your favourite make? - They are all great my friend. I work for Lamborghini, but Ferrari, McLaren, Porsche... they all make amazing cars!!! - You are a real gentleman Vale!!! - I am an old one now; I daily drive an A4 estate... turbodiesel... LOL! The next morning he took me round a race track, in a Gallardo 560-4. The amazing feeling of not being scared, but being gobsmacked by the speed at the same time! Only a great driver can deliver that! I can tell you that it was not an "old gent" behind the wheel of that Lambo!!!
Noone1, my comments directed at you have always been based purely upon nothing other than your own postings and (crazy) admissions. Maybe you should try to refrain from hitting post reply before you dispatch material that will be (so easily) questioned. Regarding your latest raft of excuses and nonsensical contradictory rantings, wow I must say you just keep on giving and giving!! Not sure where to begin....there is just so much material to work with lol! Sorry I shouldn't laugh.
Maybe noone did, maybe noone didn't - who would really know? Maybe noone resides in the midwest who knows? Who really cares? The car could have been a random car shot taken on the street, or a pic of his dads, uncles, friends or neighbors car. Who really knows? That all said, Noone1 is entertaining in the sense it isn't every day you come across a person on a car enthusiast forum who not only doesn't own a car, but who also dislikes driving, says all cars drive the same anyway, - craves for a self driven electric car - posting against and critiquing those who actually do. So I guess yes it could be fairly said noone1 is no "one trick pony"! After-all he clearly has plenty up his sleeve, even if it is largely imaginary, mixed in with a few facts quoted from a journal in a bid to obtain some form of cred. Btw Your Royal Highness exoticardreamer (or is it Lord?) how many tricks is "your pony? I mean as you are always desperately trying to convince everyone here on fchat you are the superior being amongst us, casting judgement, pigeon holing those who's opinions you don't like or disagree with, must mean you are one very very "special" pony right? So how many tricks? Love to know! Should I kneel whilst I await his lordships answer
With all respect, Exoticcardreamers post, are far superiour than others. Informativ and based on owning multiple super/hypercars of dif brand. He is not bushing one brand or the other, drive and track his car, where others are scared of putting miles on it because of depriation. Dont get neither this noone bashing. His answers are as valid as others. At least he has the balls to admit not owning currently a supercar, where other pretend to own, and probably dont own them..
Questioning noone1's posts is not bashing nor is members posting their personal experiences with a particular brand. No offense but I don't see exoticardreamers posts as being superior at all. Maybe he has a superiority complex - now that I could agree with! Loving everything yet unable to handle anyone posting about problems with a brand he owns without resorting to insults as a means to sensor that information is not superior behavior. You state "others" are pretending to own, and probably don't own? Can you please elaborate or refer some facts or specific info to back that claim up?
Not understanding the superiority complex stuff. He always seems like a really down to earth guy on here and his car collection is nuts and regularly driven hard.....
Exoticdreamer has always been respectful, informative and down to earth. Cant say the same for some others....
Why don't you share some pictures of these amazing road and road trips you're taking in that amazing Ferrari that you love driving so much. Since you seem to think you are the definition of "enjoys driving." And make sure I can see your Ferrari in them! Now don't go GIS on us... Oh, and post the telemetry so we can see what a speed demon you are!
The Valkyrie isn't bad value for money imo and although it's expensive I feel you wouldn't regret it and it wouldn't be hard to shift if you did want to move it on. AMG One will be at a similar or less level imo it'll take longer than 4 years for anything to catch up with it, it's going to be a seriously special car
Pretty easy go on car meet or on track (i never go to car meet, just om track) and you experience the warm welcome from the other drivers and respect from the ohter supercar owners, what ever brand you are in. You know around you are the same petrolheads wich shares the very same passion, regardless of brands. Why it is not the same in the anonyme internet world, why constantly bash other brands and try to suggest „my brand ist the best“. Lots of trolling in the internet. till now i had the chance to meet 3 people on track wich i learned to know trough the net, all others stay behind the screens and mostly what is said to exist can and will never been proofed. For my part i do not believe half of what i am reading on car forums. as i said to much trolling for my taste
The problem with the internet is Keyboard Courage. People say things they would never say in person to someone. I’m certainly guilty of that and try to not get into pissing matches but sometimes emotion takes over. I’m a car lover and respect all brands especially as I broaden my horizons.
That's a fact! Some awfully rude people that would cower in person, that's all I'm going to say on that. I still try to keep it civil knowing some goof is on the other side just proud as punch with themselves. They know who they are. Back to fun cars now
Can we get back on topic about the performances of these cars rather than the personal profile of each person....
I'm working on getting the detailed mechanical issue from him and his discussions with Ferrari dealer. Unfortunately, I have to get my wife to message his wife on facebook since neither one of us are on facebook -
From my armchair, everything I've seen and read about the 720 is that it's the real performance benchmark. Exoticcardreamer can chime in with a personal viewpoint and tell me I'm wrong of course. Nothing to be sensitive about - it's good for Ferrari. Getting beat is nothing new (look at the last nine years in F1.) It's how Ferrari can get better. It's still my favorite marque, and I still love them. It should come to no surprise smaller players like Mac/Lambo *need* to do this, otherwise, why would anybody buy their cars? You have to offer more performance for less money. A glorious time if you have the means.
I don't know noone1 but I've met/driven with exoticcardreamer in person and conversed with him on this forum for years. I've never seen him be rude or arrogant, quite the opposite. Even in this thread, I did not see any personal attacks (maybe I missed it?) I do know I've seen first hand his tracking and some videos and he has true legitimate perosnal experiences with the cars we speak of, in short the exact opposite of the background you describe of nonone1 (don't know if true or not) For these facts when exoticcardreamer has something to say I know it's not from his armchair (like myself)
Been on plenty (track, group drives etc) and like yourself only ever see the good side of owners. It doesn't matter who drives what, we all share the same thing in common and appreciate one another for the choices we have made. However Fchat has proven a differing experience where there is a select group who languish in the background awaiting to play sentinel for their beloved brand of choice (GH as a classic case). The funny thing is here you can talk about and/or report issues and experiences with you Ferrari, Porsche or Lambo but hell dare mention the word Mac as having any sort of problems and boy things go sideways in a hurry. Out comes the same old sentinels and the name calling, negative profiling of those making such outrageous reports about their beloved car begin. I've never once said Ferrari was immune to problems, hell mine has already let me down once with a dead battery - I mean who would ave expected in such a modern car. But am I going to start character assassinating those who step forward to report problems about the Ferrari I own? Nope. In fact i'd be interested to hear more about the car I own and the pitfalls to be aware of. That is what I thought motoring enthusiast forums were about - where such problems could be aired and discussed without fear of reprisals from brand sentinels. Its funny whenever car comparos are posted up. Everyone usually has their favorites and that's fine....to be expected. Most owners are car proud of the car they have paid good money for. Needless to add they are all great cars in their own right anyway. But again when someone says they prefer one over the Mac oh boy here we go out come the same old sentinels again (GH, noone1 etc). Truly ridiculous... And of course, after them going into attack mode, they then try excuse themselves on the basis they love all cars and of course everyone else is just plain rude, haters and trolls etc. And to noone1.. sorry pal I don't need to qualify myself to you anyone here about what I own and where/how I drive. All you really need to know is I actually do own more than one supercar and drive them in a manner which they were designed. And to indulge your fantasy even further I only drive them all in the center lane on a freeway at or under the speedlimit rather than any mountain pass or country road - even on track days they are flagging me down as being a slow hazzard. There ya go! Now back to topic - that is if there is anyone brave enough to speak or offer an opinion which doesn't get the noses of Noone, GH1244 and the likes out of joint. Adios amigos.
Look FWIW I don't hold an axe out against anyone here regardless of what they've tried to label/profile me as....I know an insult when one is thrown my way and exoticardreamer has shown to be no clean-skin in this area. I forgive him though - I'm sure he's a good guy at heart.
Oh, I see it now, the "one trick pony" insinuation here. He was giving you a characterization - that is you and the other chap are only loyal to one brand, Nothing wrong with this, I don't know if it's even accurate or not. Ferrari is my favorite brand so you're in good company if true! I've seen a lot of noone1's post here, and I have a hard time judging any of his posts as really trolling (at least the ones I've seen) If ownership of discussed vehicles is a litmus test for participation, I would argue half of Ferrarichat threads I participate in would be locked out for me! There are plenty of trolls and 'real' brand bashers here. I've always seen noone1 as a person that greatly values McLaren, and that's fine, and I've seen him 'magazine' and/or 'youtube' race (I'm guilty this as well). But I've never seen him outright bash Ferrari, I guess that's why I've never considered him a troll. I know exoticcardreamer by no means is a Ferrari hater as well, more of an 'equal opportunity brand lover'
