My problem if they were separate the brands is; Could you still get service at a chevy dealership. If .ot it would be a huge negative.

    John,
K Wright and I were probably too hard on you. We are sorry....

But, I have a nice fresh 5 spot if you'll tell us. That's right my friend, FIVE BUCKAROONIES, 5 GRICKLES, 5 DRACHMOLIES, an ABRAHAM...well, you get the idea. FIVE DOLLARS, free and clear if you tell us where the reveal is. C'mon man, this is the EASIEST 5 bucks in your life. And I shouldn't speak for K Wright, but I just bet he would throw in a FIVER also.
10 BUCKS...a lot of cash. Enough to go to McDonalds AND Starbucks. Just sayin'

Sounds like you're open to some palm greasing so, while 5 bucks is about my limit on cash, I am willing to risk some jail time and make you a bootleg cassette of Slim Whitman's Greatest Hit.
    Very rare and VERY collectible.

Guys this is the 'second coming' some six decades in the makings. This is going to be a mega event; not a 'car show'.
    Even Andy will be there...

I know no one knows exactly right now, but how much wider will the rear track be than the front track? What is typically the difference in a hyper performance mid-engined car? Any educated guesses on this as well as front and rear tire width?

If one takes a look at the underside of a C7, its not hard to imagine many of those mechanical pieces being repackaged in a Me layout, the suspesion transxle etc are all there.
Possibly probably the Me car is all new or mostly new mechanicals. I would strongly suspect that these same mechanicals, ie the suspension transaxle, steering HVAC etc will repackage into a Fe format, and have been designed with that in mind. The vette frame is not too complex either, or to repackage.

What I am getting at is you can make a ME and Fe car on the same line with both cars sharing a high degree of components in common. That means tooling and development costs for many pieces are shared to a high degree and two new cars can be designed/built for not much more than the cost of one. Two cars expands the bandwidth. I dont see a Fe vette being built off a camaro, platform, theres no need, its heavy, would be an expensive redesign and the vette would lose some USP/provanenace. Plus its simply going to cost less to build a fe vette off the me bits.

Unless the Me is miraculously a knockout smash 40+k units per year sustained hit, Gm will be building a Fe car off the same platform. Its simply a no brainer, and they have so much customer equity in the Fe layout. The Me is there to take the vette concept further, to expand the bandwidth, not trunkate it.

How much wider will the rear track be than the front; well my answer would be zero. In fact the track width will favour the front with a width of 66.8 inches. The rear track will be narrower at 64.9 inches.
For tire sizes I believe they would start at 245 for the front and 305 for the rear but that 305 may be a bit aggressive for the base model.
