Beltway and I-95/495/395/66, brine is being sprayed everywhere. And so ends the driving season, at least until the next rains, which are probably on Thursday afternoon/Friday.

Supposed to be a real soaker after the chilly mix.

Ready for winter? I am not.

So depressing that they have to damage our cars and environment with only a slight threat of mixed precipitation.

So glad I snuck my 360 Spider over to Competizione on Monday for a major service and some other minor items. At least it won't be ready for a bit...

Yup, but you forgot "then use it as an excuse to claim they have no money for more vital services we pay them for." Grrr...

Except, the weatherman was wrong (as usual) and there's snow/ice everywhere. There were also piles of salt/sand at intersections where the spreaders on the sanding trucks liberally dumped their mix. That won't go away with just rain.

Even with the weatherman missing the forecast, and even with the fake news that there was a weather event, and the roads needed treatment, I remain totally against brine and salt, and I can not be reasoned with ;-)

Lower Montgomery County looks very good. It seems like all of the treatment has washed away and there isn’t much remaining.

Glad we haven’t ended our driving season so early in the year.

    How about further north?

I am curious about Howard County and points north.

HoCo looks very good. Most of MoCo as well south of the Air Park.

Glad that we are still able to drive the vintage cars for a few more weeks!

No salt in DC, Clara Barton or GW Parkways.
Clean and dry on both sides of the river.

Only salt in Fairfax/Prince William can be found on the bridges and overpasses, most of that has washed away. None on the roads

Roads in MoCo and HoCo look great as does 495 and 95 up to Columbia.

It was hard to tell, but some of the back roads in Potomac looked a little dusty tonight.
