He is doing that car next and has decals done already. I find the Lemans versions kind of boring compared to the Pan America versions. Plus the Carrera Pan America was a much more dangerous race making it more exciting. They don't make them like that anymore(other than tarmac rally, don't ask how it's still allowed ).

(if I just randomly collected everything I liked there would be no end to it!) ;-) Jeremy
I used to collect all the Lemans winners until Audi did their string due to lack of competition. Even the Bentley was an Audi . Now I only collect cars I like, mainly Italian.
Profil 24 next Porsche 1/24th model kits, the Petite Lemans 2018 and Lemans 1998 GT1 winner. The Lemans 1998 car looks to have a motor. Image Unavailable, Please Login

FFK of France update photos. They have two 1/24th birdcages and the 1/12th EB110 and Matra 650. Nice stuff. I would have to buy the EB110 if they did a Lemans 1994 race version in 1/12th. The Matra is very well done and tempting and if it was a 670 I would have bought it already. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

November Hiro in 1/12th. 1970's F1 car Good Year slicks. Keeping it on a Ferrari topic I say 1974 312B3?? Image Unavailable, Please Login

First model kit of the car that raced against itself and won I think a Japanese plastic company will end up doing it also. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Another iffy choice from Hiro, in my opinion. We already have several Ferrari F1's from that general time period in 1/12 (although not as nice as the HIro will be) so this one's probably not going to be a must-have for me at least. I really wish he'd do a 512S in short and long-tail, along with a couple 512M's. That would make a killer display along side his 917's...
The very well done 1/24th FPPM 550 1954 Pan Am kit by Fernando Pinto. Finally a great kit of this car, and it has a complete chassis and motor. The decals are top quality as is the photoetch. The #58 550 1954 Pan Am and Lemans versions coming very soon also. He nailed the shape perfectly, something Hiro and a lot of companies fail to do. New updated Scale Designs Pan Am decals, the 1952/1953 Porsche 356 Canada sheet and the Alfa Romeo 1900 Pan Am 1954 sheet. Corrected numbers on the 1900 and a few added logos on the Canada 356. Alfa 1900 is 1/24th only and the Porsche 356 is available in 1/43rd and 1/24th. Sheets all printed by Cartograf with UMI artwork. These are limited edition decals and are already almost sold out with the pre orders. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Next Scale Designs sheet in 1/43rd and 1/24th scales. Porsche 356 Pan Americana 1952-1954 SD44. Due out as soon as Cartograf finishes them. I wonder how many model companies will copy our artwork as no model company even knew what the AGFA car details looked like until now!! Good to have knowledgeable Pan Am historian friends. The roof number #53 should be moved slightly back. AGFA car is black. A lot of people will redo the Peron car after seeing this decal. All 3 have never been done in 1/24th and 2 never done in 1/43rd. Apparently Paul Fisher of Fisher Model and Pattern Works has lost his home and his workshop to the California fires. A GoFundMe page has been setup by someone from the Large Scale Planes forum for those who wish to contribute.

Poor Paul Fisher. He did survive Mount St. Helens so he will survive this. Hope he gets a good payout from insurance so that he can come back stronger than ever.
FPPM Alfa P2 in 1/24th. Looks great as usual. For those who have not built one of his kits you are missing one of the most prolific kit makers works of art. He really has a good eye for the classic cars he does and they almost always look right. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I was thinking it is to bad some of the Asian resin built model makers did not have a master maker like Fernando Pinto. He did used to work for the company that makes Hachette diecast models(see my other Quattroroute 1/24th thread). It is a small modeling world. That's why I also really hope Paul Fisher and Joe from Quick Skins get back on their feet again. Both survived the Paradise California fires last week. Talent is hard to find. Right now it seems the best talent are in the former USSR and countries formerly under their control doing mainly military kit models and 1/43rd built up cars.
