Feels like that mule is the V6 488 replacement and we probably won't see the final body design by next summer-ish.

I heard Geneva for the replacement car. No idea whether that means V6 or V8. Considering the turbo was on the second cycle of the 458/488 platform, and Ferrari already said that the use of hybrid power would not be specifically for excessive power delivery (but more in terms of efficiency), is it possible the the first cycle car will be a similar V8 turbo to what the 488 is now? Then the refresh car would move to V6 turbo hybrid?

Well let's just hope December comes fast, and people start seeing their invitations to the new model in a few weeks, then hopefully we'll know what Ferrari's deal for next year.

Went to see my dealer today to spec my Pista. I was told that the 488 successor will be a V8 hybrid. The V6 hybrid will be more in the vein of a Dino (a more "affordable" car), but will have a Ferrari badge. We should expect to see the car at some point next year with deliveries in 2020. That's what I was told and it also makes logical sense. Ferrari wouldn't replace the V8 line with a V6.

And then there’s the Testarossa tribute car. Twin turbo V12 hybrid. 0-100kmh in 1.9 secs. Positioned between 812 and LaFerrari. That sounds like fun

Is this supposed to be the 488 or the big brother underneath?

All prices are going up. So although yes there will a V8 to replace the 488, it’s price will be quite a bit more than he 488 and the V6 will be close in price to the 488. So not exactly directly will the V6 replace the 488 but by pricing in effect it will. This is what I’ve heard.

Very exciting bet but before his passing Sergio Marchionne already said the V12 hybrid won't be turborcharged..

I’ll be happy to stand corrected on the turbocharged bit.

Oh, I forgot to mention, it’s going to be 1100hp

Wow, This is unbelievable if it’s true:) 1100HP and 0-100km/h 1.9s and not limit edition right? But where did you get your info from? Is your source reliable?

So if you are right we will have :

1/Top of the range v12 hybrid ( definitive bodywork unseen )

2/488 replacement v8TT hybrid ( hugely covered black mule seen at fiorano )

1.9 seconds, huh? It may be a testarossa tribute but the engine will no doubt be the upcoming sports car from Tesla. I heard Ferrari will name it the ‘Elon Pista”

No more V 12 for the normal range, with or without hybrid !
    V12 only for icona range
That s not a prediction, that s only a fact, you can trust it...
