Well the person who designs these new Ferrari models is Flavio Manzoni. He is not a fan of 'retro' design ideas. Anything is possible but I am not sure how much of the 'old look' he will use for a new Ferrari... Thank you for sharing the 'new model' info here!
I am so sure I will have to do so many dances to get the allocation for the aperta because I already refused to do one of those usual dance for 812 and pista by buying this and that. This picture is simply awesome to look at... drooling... used market here I come!
Remember the 575 Superamerica? It had a decent roof which rotated on the egine cover. (granted, not the most elegant solution)
Ohh I will have sooo much problems trying NOT to order a 812 spider (or whatever it will be called) - I have been dreaming about a V12 Ferrari Spider for some time. Even considered to order a Portofino just to get that open feeling (never mind the V8 that is not a V12). Wife has already approved the Portofino - so that is not a problem... It is more a question about cost vs desire I guess...
You got a point, I forgot that car even though I love it ... Yeah the system was pretty unelegant, and it is known for putting water drops and dead leafs on the head the driver when closing it ahah

This is an old photo posted on Ferrari chat some while ago. Personally I think it’s a Cali T or Portofino. There is no way Ferrari would have a large photo of a unrevealed car in the Atelier, sorry to spoil the fun.
Totally agree with you on the last bit, however the car is clearly an 812. Might be a black painted roof car? Not sure because A-pillars seem to pop.
I believe he has owned several collectable cars but not kept them, more like one at a time. I met him last year and he told me so, if my memory serves.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's a one off. It was posted on Instagram by "Maranellosales", but was deleted a few minutes later from what I've been told. Didn't have the chance to read the post. Edit: Thanks @maha for confirming it.
