I do have to say the front camera and parking sensors look terrible on this car. One option I am glad I passed
Every Pista has the 'waterfalls' underneath look for those stripes. Not one car has appeared with the stripes on top of the nose of the car.
I enquired when speccing mine at factory. They are very protective of the Pista Piloti design and I think their position is they will not do a stripe on the nose of an "ordinary" Pista.Design centre also think it looks odd when done with regular Pista stripe. I wanted to put the 2017 Le Mans 488 GTE tricololore on mine and run it under the nose like all other Pista.Factory said no to that as well.Trying to find a compromise at present. Having said all that I'm sure special clients would have more luck.

Thank you for your interesting comments regarding the stripes and the position and design of the stripe on the body of a standard Pista. Also your struggles in getting your design choice approved. That is a very curious response from them regarding the basic stripe placement. I seem to recall that the stripe design on top of the nose instead of 'under' was one of the choices shown for the standard Pista stripe offerings. Maybe they changed their mind about the stripe location business.
I really like and identify with how you summarized the Ferrari mystique and how you approached your spec. I approached mine along similar lines, wanting the modern car to have a historical connection. How might the Pista have looked if it was born in the 50s or 60s? This influenced a number of decisions, including using a historical exterior color, silver wheels, black brake calipers, and the seats being (virtually) the only differentiated interior color. My car is in the factory queue but hasn't been born yet so I only have the configurator renderings for now. Great concept for a build spec; which blue did you choose? I like what you did with the interior except for on an ''old concept" car I would personally not use the stripe on the seats. My 2 cents!
Swatters Blue. I was trying to spec the car how it might have looked if built in the 50s/60s; not make it look like it was from that era - there is a distinction. For example, I embraced the exterior CF which clearly would not have existed in that era. On that seat stripe, we actually looked at a few options, including having the tone on tone stripe as you suggested. The problem with that is the seat stripe is replicated between the upper and lower dash which would have put a cuoio horizontal stripe across the mid dash - something I’m not a fan of and I was endeavoring to avoid extracompanario with the spec.
