Always laugh when I see comments about what Enzo would have wanted. He had little interest in the production cars. They were a necessity to finance his racing passion.

    Agree.
Furthermore, I credit LDM with "turning around" Ferrari and making I the powerhouse it is today....not Enzo.

Pista allocations for early 2020 are already being made so even though this is not a limited edition, I think it unlikely that everyone who wants one will get one.

I just think that with the "special" / "track" versions of the stock V8 mid engine cars it will be business as normal ...... they will follow the path of the CS, Scud & Speciale to be desired and valued by many for years to come.

I agree with all of your 2 cents, except the frigging ADM for the RS.. I am just SO TIRED for Porsche dealers charging ADM, and then they justify it by calling it supply and demand regardless of loyalty of the long time customer... Oh well, I thought grass is greener here in Ferrari, but the F dealer game of buying this and that for 812 and pista is no better. Anyway, I just replied screw you to the porsche GM who just emailed me about trading in my previous GT cars and I told him I only drive Ferrari now and I sold all the GT cars because I was pissed.

Tho most Pistas are in the mid to upper $400s that is because they went to town with the options.

Not sure what Pista will do to Speciale, but if you don’t mind miles there are definitely a couple Speciales with 10k miles that could be had for under $325k. These cars are meant to be driven!

This is a good point. Toyota also makes a metallic silver that in person is every bit as good as any silver Ferrari paint. An experienced paint shop familiar with both can be a good detail source but its still a matter of opinion. Its the body Ferrari puts the paint on that is so gorgeous and non-pedestrian. :)

This is like saying Coach makes a handbag every bit as good as Hermes. Doesn't matter, woman want the Hermes :)

Omg! You tell my wife that!!

You put that stupid hermes bag in walmart, and you ask random people to guess the price. I guarantee without having dinner the experiment, most would not have guessed near 1/100 of the real price.

With Ferrari, even if I debadged everything, people would still guess it's an expensive car.

You understand that everyone just chuckled a bit by you saying that you left Porsche to go to Ferrari because of dealer games right? -:).

If stock price is an indicator of the financial health of a company, then Ferrari needs a massive dose of antibiotics. Share price has plummeted from a high 6 months ago of almost $150 to todays price of just over $104. Perhaps it is time to change company marketing and selling strategy.

150 wasn't warranted though, the metric was rediculous for the EBITDA .

I have come to the conclusion that I really don’t care anymore if I get the Pista.
If it comes find, if not I will still be happy with my cars I already have.
