    Why is it that everything, absolutely everything, to do with renewable energy is taxpayer subsidised? This is the greatest scam of the modern era, as stupid politicians fall over themselves to shovel our money into the pockets of rent-seekers.

    that's nonsense Karen. It's not pork barreling to win votes, it's leftist ideology, at the taxpayer's expense.

    In the space of 10 years Australia has gone from the cheapest to among the most expensive power prices in the world, with decreased reliability. We've spent 11 billion dollars so far and, according to Labor, only another 15 billion is needed to reach a green utopia. All of it added to the national debt for our grandchildren to repay, through diminished living standards.
