40 minutes with no traffic. All bets off otherwise.

Will you be getting checked luggage on arrival at FLL? Don't dawdle, especially if you need to find parking at MIA, and anything can happen on I95 between FLL and MIA. For international flights it's a good idea to get there a couple of hours before boarding because TSA at MIA is usually a cockup. If you're flying first class certain airlines provide expedited TSA screening.

Wherever you're going, have a great time!

    Marrakech.

We changed the departure to Friday night. I assume we can make it, if we arrive at 1700, with a 2150 departure - Friday night.

Friday night between 5-7 PM is the worst time to travel on I-95, Sunday was ok, during the week is the pits.

Well, if he's talking about today, he probably won't see this, but you're right. I never like to cut it this close on international flights, especially at MIA.

Three hours is not enough time ?

I can fly into MIA. I have booked the int flight and I still need to arrange the domestic portion.

It should be but you never know.

What Friday? If it’s Devember 7th that’s during Art Basel and traffic will be an absolute nightmare.

Lol, it’s taken me two hours to get home to FTL from Miami at 2am before. One little hiccup there and it’s hell.

If you will be collecting checked luggage at FLL, and then trying to get to MIA two hours before your international departue, no, three hours is not enough time.

If you can fly direct to MIA you could eliminate a big chunk of anxiety.
