I'm looking forward to the Cavallino Classic coming up January 23-27 at the Breakers in Palm Beach. Definitely my favorite concours of the year. It should be an amazing show this year with the featured Ferrari being the 250 SWB. Who''ll be attending and/or presenting this year?

I'll be there, as I have every year since the event's inception in 1992. Always big fun.

The only Ferrari I have in FL is a race car- definitely not show-worthy, so I haven't put anything on the lawn in many years!

My plan is to be there and I may be presenting a few cars for a friend although I need him to teach me how to do that :)

I’m actually looking for a better location option to unload my cars off my transport. The event organizers offer up Coconut path, which is a pretty chopping service road located across the street from the Breakers. The road is basically partial gravel and dirt with a mix of old, broken pavement. Does anyone know of a better location very close the Breakers to stage?

Hoping to go and take my 5 yo. I hope the Cavallino and Dealers feud is over.

I’ll be there as always. Can’t wait for the parties and to see old friends.

    The concours never disappoints.

As I'm sure you know, there's not a lot of open, undeveloped space on a small (and very valuable) island like PB, but maybe the folks at nearby Royal Poinciana Plaza would allow you to unload there? It has recently been redeveloped and is much busier than in the recent past, but it might be worth inquiring.

Yes, it can be challenging. I’m sure I’ll find a spot somewhere. Thanks for the recommendation.

I’d unload on the Brazilian Avenue between S. County and Hibiscus.

I wish! But too rich for my blood. I used to stay at The Breakers, which is the best way to enjoy the event. Right now, rooms are still available ($1,100 for Saturday night).

Reminds me of the damaged 250 SWB that Jacques Swaters was rumored to have tucked away in the basement at his car dealership. I wonder if that particular Ferrari was ever rebuilt? ;)

Lol, lots of places to stay that are nearby and much, much cheaper. PM me if you want specifics.

This is true. It’s Florida. There are endless options. Also, for those participating in the events the Breakers has special rates that are much less than $1,100 per night.

    Will do...

BTW, I couldn't find the ticket prices on the website. The ticket application button seems to be for those who are entering cars.

I'm thinking about just the attending the Classic Sports Sunday event since I've never done that before.

It used to be if you were in the biz, Cavallino was mandatory. But today with the Internet, things have changed.

I know you can buy tickets the day of the concours on Saturday ($200). I’ve never attended the Sunday event so I can’t say for certain it I’m guessing you can simply buy tickets that day as well.

Classic Sports Sunday has become a can't miss event in its' own right. It does sell out in advance though so you have to act fast if you want to go. Saturdays concours tickets can be bought the day of as you enter.
