2018 Formula One Season ***Possible Spoilers***

I reckon driver of the year should have been Leclerc while the Bottas gets the dud of the 2018 grid award. Driver and manufacturer championship winning car and he didn't manage to win a single race. OK, he should have won Russia, but otherwise he really didn't bother Elton at all.
I really hope he can get his head in the game for next year, but not enough to beat Leclerc

 

Actually what they need in there is a decent moderator.

Whenever he was in a good position he rolled over when asked. He's spineless. He's of course hired as 2nd driver, and played that role quite well (the blocking part anyways). Actually finishing 2nd to his boss....well he struggled quite handsomely doing even that! Bottas wasn't really much faster than an old and broken Massa

I still think it all went wrong after Marchionne died and the Ferrari team turned extremely italian immediately. None of it made sense after that. Poor upgrades, extremely poor strategies, poor timing in hiring Leclerc and telling Kimi...For what looked like was going to be a battle till at least the final race, Ferrari handed the titles on a silver platter. Incredible. Ferrari needs a management haulover, but done gently. Can't go round sacking people left right and centre now, will again put the team in complete disarray for 2019. Bring in new people (non Italian) and bring some much needed organization to the team. And make Arrivabene very clear on what will happen and why.

Vettel tried (had) to think for the team too many times....I appreciate his efforts but he's no Schumacher in that regard (to be fair to Vettel, no one is).

What pisses me off though is how the (mostly British) Media writes how Ferrari had a ''dominant car''....**** off....we never had a dominant car. Competitive, yes, but nothing more than that. And Elton fanboys use it as absolute fact when trying to prove their point (which probably still means signing off every post ''elton is the greatest'').
